New, well maintained park with various activities for those with varying abilities. Picnic tables, shaded areas and a costal walking path as well.

Great day at the Art in the Park Event at Dinosaur Caves, Shell Beach. Sun shiny day, sparkling sea, gentle breeze and lots of smiling faces of all ages. Plenty of fun, affordable and unusual booths to window shop and purchase one of a kind items. My favorite, "the Blue Jean Lady" from Cambria. Love at first site purchase (awesome Picasso Jeans), Kantha Garments & instant friendship. Did we know each other in a former life? Also a really cool Peruvian Booth with awesome cold weather gear, alpaca stuffed animals, bracelets & such. But so many cool items everywhere. Loved the young crochet queen, regret not buying something from her - hats for family twins? a scarf!We bought a "good ole hot dog", a treat for us but there was lots of food to enjoy & drinks too. Fun, family day or date for two. Love this event. Make sure to check it out in December!

Art in the Park at Dinosaur Caves in Shell Beach is a fantastic show with great vendors of unique handcrafted items, awesome live music and food. The view can't be beat either, as the fair is overlooking the ocean. Love it. Happens the first Sunday of every month, May to December.
