“This is a cute little market and from what I saw it wasn't crazy priced like some similar to this can be. It's a good place to stop if you forgot to grab your favorite snack before heading up to Lake Piru, the only negative was THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY HONEY BUNS! If you can overlook this huge downfall then I think you'll like the place lol”

“I love this place! The food is good, there's a reasonable selection of products, and the staff is very friendly. It stands out in stark contrast to the chain grocery stores we've been to.”

“One of the best BBQ spots in Simi Valley! Love this spot! I usually end up going with the Tri Tip Sandwich (the roll is garlic bread) combo that comes with 2 sides and a fountain drink. I got the baked beans and mac & cheese. The meal was absolutely delicious! They have several BBQ sauces here and my favorite is the Whiskey Habanero BBQ. Check this spot out cause it rocks!”

“This is easily the largest Sprouts store i've ever seen. It was well laid out and very clean. The shelves were tidy and clearly marked. I was really impressed with how much better it was than our normal Sprouts in Las Vegas.”

“My second experience shopping. It's getting easier to find what I like and know I'm getting a good price. I'm used to Trader Joe's, so I'm making a comparison to their prices and quality. Scored on grass fed butter, flatbread, tortilla chips, almond milk and butternut squash. Hope they are good. Trying the sourdough bread, its over a dollar more pricier. Not a joyful shopping experience, a bit out of my way, very basic, but I'm there for low prices on healthy products, so giving a 5!”

“I've been shopping here for years. The deli has a wide variety of good quality lunch meat and cheeses, at extremely reduced prices. They have so many spices! You can locate most spices at a reasonable price. I also purchase nuts and snacks here, these prices are very low. I don't typically purchase meat here except for stews. They have excellent chicken prices. I often cannot find the basil I need, but most other produce is good.”

“Check out the produce check out the meat department. Most things are very reasonably priced, some things are a little too pricey. But the big draw for me is the bakery! Everything and anything you could ever desire isn't that beautiful Bakery.”

“Best place to go to to buy a charola. Meat and chicken is ALWAYS on point when BBQ'ing it. Taste effin bomb! Especially the Salvadorian Chorizos they add in the charolas. Although they put only a couple pieces of the Salvadorian Chorizo, you can always buy more by the pound. Price of the charola is a fair amount. I believe it's like $25 for the small one and $50 for the big one? So totally worth it though. Store is clean and they sell just about everything else in there. Great Cust. Service too. SNAP friendly too.”

“The prices are that of a regular liquor store, the main reason I come here 2.5 hours from my home is because they have the most amazing beef jerky, when I come I buy most if not all they have in stock. I've even won 50 bucks on a scratcher from here. The service is nice too, they seem to like their jobs. Oh there is also a good pizza place next door”

“On my way to a gettogether at a friends house, I wanted to not come empty handed. Along my route I decided to stop by Sunflower for some supplies. With expectations low, I thought I'd walk out with some basics. To my surprise, there was quite a wide selection of local brews in the refrigerator section! Good selection from Tarantula Hill, Institution, etc. along with well known out of state breweries. IPAs galore! Did I mention that Sunflower has a drive-thru window? I definitely plan to fold Sunflower into my rotation moving forward.”

“(Translated by Google) It no longer has that name, they have already changed owners ? they are very friendly and the cashier who is there is very hard-working and cool. Very helpful, sometimes it's hard with some clients to stay calm and not get angry (I know from experience) but she tries to do her best at her job. It is always clean and they try to have a little of everything.(Original)Ya no tiene ese nombre, ya cambiaron de dueños ? son muy amables y la cajera q está allí es muy trabajadora y buena onda. Muy servicial, a veces es difícil con algunos clientes mantenerse tranquila y no enojarse (lo sé por experiencia) pero ella trata d hacer lo mejor en su trabajo. Está limpio siempre y tratan de tener de todo un poco.”

“An amazing staff very courteous and friendly. The store is impeccably clean and exemplifies the meaning of a family owned and run small business! I would much rather shop here than a large market because the service and atmosphere here is worth the time and money. They will certainly have you leaving in better mood and a more positive outlook.”

“First time in a Dollar General. They literally have EVERYTHING. I was very pleased with the home decor selection. Vases, rugs, signs, and candle holders for under $5. I think I found my new favorite place. Also I noticed the staff bringing out merchandise so it appears they might restock the store on Monday's. Located in an outdoor mall with a grocery outlet.”

“I really like this place and I rarely go to a liquor store but their prices are so good, I stop there first. Store is very clean. Staff is great too. At first I only went to buy lottery tickets but now I stop by once a month to make a purchase before I go to a party or BBQ. I have recommended this store to many people so I hope you will give it a try.”

“I was here in this building if I remember correctly that it was this specific one. That was when it was in mid-August, year 1982.Then, it had the name as being as it was well known to be Spencer's Market. In Mid-August 1982, I was with my mother here [at this business] then known as WANDA SKELLY,.We were in there and Riley Spencer was still there, the proprietor/owner.Adeline Sitman and Ann Oney were also workers there, as was my mother Wanda, they all did work there as an employee in the 1960's or early 1970's, before we moved from Moorpark, CA., U.S.A., my original hometown. However, three members of my immediate family are now gone/passed on, they were/are:My brother,STEVEN GENE SKELLY [11/17/1948-11/13/1969], killed in the Vietnam War conflict. My father,JOHN PRESTLEY SKELLY [05/07/1925-10/16/1998].My mother, WANDA LEE (DAVIS) SKELLY ADAMS ROCCO [07/07/1927-01/14/2020].That was in Spring season year 1971, soon after the San Fernando-Pacoima temblor/earthquake.We did move back to Moorpark, for a time in the year 1973, although we did not stay, and we did return to the state of Oklahoma, my bio-roots state of origin.”

“Great groceries store, plenty to choose from!!!.......Only small detail was in my way leaving the store I asked the young cashier when was the week special ending, she replied to me she didn't know, pointing out to a flyer at the entrance of the store she said you can find it over there, ? thought to myself don't you work here?.....as I continue outside of the store heading to my car I saw a lady getting the shopping carts, asked her the same thing ¿?, to which she replied: I don't know I'm just in charge of getting the shopping carts back to the store!.....?, I just left !?”

“This store is absolutely my most favorite market! The staff is very helpful and friendly, and I shop there at least a couple times each week. They have great prices and good deals, and you never know what other surprises they are going to have. I always buy my fruits and veggies there as well as frozen items, bread (Dave's!) and beer/wine. Tomas, the manager, is very friendly and hardworking, and Carole has ordered certain items that I've requested. Just a really great store!”

“The cashier was very serious, never even looked at you, she even got upset because I couldn't be fast enough to press the green button on her credit card machine that wasn't working properly, cashier sucks.”

“Saw a lot of Funko Pops for different prices for the same product. I'm not a collector but was doing some holiday shopping and noticed it. I think the store is dirty and the layout is a little different from the ones I go to. The restroom for the men's is very dirty with no toilet paper in the stall; not even in the reserves. I found so many different hand baskets in most places so if you forget to get one in the front you'll find it deep within the store (very handy; lol), thank you.Bought two gifts and the prices were very reasonable.First time and last time at this location. Don't live in this city and found it when I went to Starbucks in the same parking lot. Ohhh they have a Trader Joe's in that same parking lot.12/09/23”

“The meats here are top notch. They'll cut the meats to your liking. My personal favorites are the Diesmillo preparada, pollo marinado & the pollo chipotle.”

“I used to work here between 1975 and 1976. It was called Rainey's Market then. It had been a family owned market since it opened. They had the best fresh meat I have ever found. The current owner was kind enough to catch me up on the previous owners. Sadly they have all passed away. But the daughter still owns the property. So it is still kind of in the family. I didn't have time to try their meat but hope to go back sometime in the future.”
