Joanna (says she’s the supervisor) discriminates towards people of color. I’ve been coming to this location for 10 years and every time she’s on site, she shown no professionalism or customer service. Most ppl here are friendly for the most part. But today was my last time I’ll be coming here. I was trying to complete my 3 month old passport application and online says “walk in hours 2-5 pm”. In my head that means you can walk in from 2-5 pm, right? She sees that I’m in line looking over the paperwork and shouts/yells saying we’re not accepting any more applications today in front of the whole line and blatantly. I mentioned that your site says walk in hours are 2-5. She said we’re not taking anymore and dismisses me. She never suggested come back next Tuesday or I’ll make you an appointment! This is her attitude towards customers everyday. How is she the supervisor ? Having my husband get off of work early and a fussy 3 month old - she was not sympathetic! Most ppl leave thier jobs- but you can tell she hates it. She needs to be held accountable and given more diversity and customer service training !

The girl with the braids is extremely rude. Yelled at me to go to another post office because I tried opening the door at 8:30am. I told her I could hear her and she yelled "it was meant to be heard". I've never experienced someone so rude and nasty at this post office. Please find people that are customer service friendly and that appreciate having a paying job. This lady was on her personal phone at the front continuing with her attitude and the women that was helping seemed quite uncomfortable as if this happens all the time. I tried asking for her name and she refused.

I walked in the lobby and I was greeted with a warm hello. There was one person ahead. Then the crowd trickled in the building behind me.The postal clerk called for assistance. She called me up with a happy smile ahhhh… you have a box ? have you address your package? No I replied ? no problem she said! Here’s a marker when you’re done we will continue. She prep my envelopes during my addressing of the package. All with a beautiful smile. She made sure that I had stamps for the future. I had a selection of five to choose from. This also made my day.Thank you so muchPostal Clerk #38I believe her name is Ms. MalindaMr. DeWanye

I had to mail a few things & while waiting in line I appreciate that customer service acknowledge our presences in line & said they will be with us asap. They also educated me in choosing the correct package for my 2 items. I step aside to fill it out & did not lose my space in line. Thank u for help & thank for the extra mile & being such a wonderful usps to go too. I will return for all my mailing needs here.

love the local post office workers and our mail lady is great at what she does. Ive seen people get upset over having to follow covid 19 protocol. The manger gets way too much hate, to do his job if you're not direct and firm when trying to explain to people you as a government agency especially have to follow protocol to keep ppl safe. Or i will see ppl see the line and leave, when if they just stayed they would see how professional and quick the ladies working at the front are. They are super sweet and extremely fast at getting whatever it is you need done. I feel lucky to live so close to a great post office!

The staff at this place is 100% rude and condescending. They literally will make you stand in the cold illegally and treat you like you are d**** The reason they do so, is because the post master doesn't follow federal laws amd allows hos staff to violate rights of the citizens that pay their salary via taxes.....

I am grateful for the work USPS employees do. However, I am not happy about the rude man in the front desk at this location that literally SHOUTED at me when I clearly needed help and clarification being a d*** millennial that is accustomed to doing everything digitally. I left and went to the El Sobrante location instead--I saw both clerks there being helpful. I am never going back to my home location in Pinole. ::eye roll::

I received terrible customer service from Mike (the manager) he yelled at me saying I needed an appointment in ordered to be helped but on the website it didn't give me the option to schedule an appointment . He proceeded to go inside and had me wait for him for about an hour. He then helped me with a terrible attitude and also charged me $180 for passport meanwhile the website clearly stated $140. This is upsetting .

I know many people cannot say anything positive about the United States Postal Service. . However I have always thought our Postal Service is a very well run operation, especially when compared to other countries like Canada and Mexico. Today I have to give my local Pinole Post Office high marks for going above and beyond to help me out this morning. It all started when I thought I had a package was delivered by UPS but when I checked my front door there was no package. When I contacted UPS, I found out the package was a Sure Post delivery and had been delivered by USPS. After several calls trying to get through to the post office, my call was answered by Kumar. He listened to my description of the problem and asked me to wait while he checked on the package. Within five minutes Kumar had called me back and told me the package got delivered to my neighbor by mistake. He double checked the address on the label which appeared to be the neighbors address and not mine. Kumar said he would come to my address and go to the neighbors to see if the package was there. Wow! In less than a half an hour, Kumar showed up at my door, first to check in and ask if I had received the package and then again, after going to the neighbor's place, finding the package and returning it to me! It's not common to receive such personalized service for a package delivery. With so many people ordering online these days, many times it's impossible to get through by phone to a carrier, much less interacting with someone in person. I usually send my packages using the Post Office instead of other carriers because the service provided is less expensive, offers tracking, provides insurance if requested and the Priority Mail delivery is often as fast as the Express service. Now I know my local Post Office will truly go the extra mile when needed to track down a delivery. Bravo!

I visit post office is all over the country. This one was like most of them. Easy to get in, short wait. There were two people working the counter which was great. Parking was a little different because it’s actually behind the building but that’s the only thing to note

Always quick, helpful, maybe understaffed but there work effort more then makes up for it. I feel lucky to live near this post office and my mailman is the best too!
