I've been coming to Odete Alexander for quite a few years and she is "the best". I always walk out of the salon feeling fantastic. Loved that she always tried to accommodate and make great suggestions. Everyone in the shop is very friendly and the atmosphere is like one big happy family.

Laurette cut my hair for the first time today and did a incredible job. I had several issues with different layers and a shape that wasn't good. It wasn't that my previous hair stylist wasn't good, but my wavy/curly hair needed a stylist that knows more tricks. Also, I'm a little older and have problems with areas of thinning and needed length to cover it.
Laurette was able to spend the time and go all the way through my hair and layer it better. The shape now is really flattering. She was also able to work on the cow lick I have and help it to lay better. She took the time to ask what I was hoping to achieve, what areas I might have issues with and then let me know what she thought, all before even cutting.
Another thing I appreciated is that she initially cut it dry as curly/wavy hair will become shorter when dry, and she could see how my hair lays. Then she shampooed it and helped me with how to condition it without weighing it down as my hair is very fine now. Then she checked it again to be sure it was even all around, and blew it dry with a diffuser which I prefer.
It looks fantastic. My husband even commented that it did.
I'm very happy and have found my new stylist. Already made my next appointment. Highly recommend you give her a try. I think you'll be happy you did.

Sharon did a fabulous job on my highlights. I had a year's worth of grow out and she blended it perfectly. The cut was perfect, a 2" trim that was actually 2"! Will definitely be going back! Thanks Sharon!

My experience at the Salon -- always great. Everyone is professional, accommodating and most importantly, very nice. In particular, everyone is the person who added color -- highlights -- to my hair, blown light ). Thank you . I absolutely love how my hair looks -- it makes me happy. I also get a lot of sincere compliments from friends, as well as from people who pass me on the street. "I love your hair" and "I love the vibe!'

I have been going to Odete Alexander at Transitions for decades. I love my hair color and hair cuts from her. Last time I went in, I had a Brazilian Blowout. OMG, it turned out AMAZING. I was shocked when after she blew dry my hair, it was straight. No flat ironing required. Now it's been a week and after each washing, my hair is no longer frizzy. I love it. I wish I had this done way sooner. Thank you, Odete, you have changed my life. Having had frizzy hair all my life, this is a life changer.

Spent over 4 hours getting a hair cut and color to cover my greys ... I showed the woman pictures of how I wanted it cut , she said fine . After the color , & drying my hair she did a chop job ! Left my hair like a bob NOT at all what I asked for and said you can come back if you still want it shorter. I was really tired by that time and hungry , I left thinking maybe I can work with it to look good as my sons wedding was the following weekend . $245.00 later If the person can't do what you ask they shouldn't even cut. Why not just say sorry that's too hard I can't do that style! Never going back & wont recommend this place. Sharon you should take classes.

dont get a haircut from TAYLOR. she may be good at other stuff but cutting hair aint it. I cried at home while looking at my hair and i had to go to another salon and get it fixed. it was so uneven and messy. Look at the "face framing" she did. a thick piece of front hair that she didnt even bother to fix. She mentioned her bfs mom owning the salon i hope they're not letter her cut hair w/o a certificate. i cannot explain with words alone how disappointed and mad i am.

Taylor does my hair and I'm always happy when I leave! She's kind, professional, takes her time, and listens to what you want. I recently made a huge transition to short hair and I was nervous after spending so much time growing out my long hair, but she did such a good job with it, I might keep my hair short for a long time! My highlights always look great and just the color I want them! Go see Taylor!

Taylor Thurgood was my stylist, I had her install ktip extensions that I purchased myself ($1200) she charged me for install and bleach all together $915. Mind you I was her first real client for this install method. Taylor thurgood guaranteed her work prior and said how confident she was .It was beautiful the first week, then ktips were falling out and than massive shedding, due to her not bonding the hair correctly. I spoke with a specialist who's been doing this method for years and she agreed that she did not bond correctly. They refused to refund me for the hair I purchased and Taylor Thurgood said she would only refund me a partial of the $915. She said she would Zelle. I began getting frustrated and asked a few times for my payment to be sent, no response until I called the salon. Taylor then again said she would send it "right now". I get a text within a minute saying "come in" I called and it was Debbie Haggerty yelling saying "no I'm telling you to COME IN" I come back in and she explains she called my hair manufacturer and I should reach out to them for a refund for the hair, and they said all 10 packs were faulty? How are all 10 packs faulty? and so now she believes Taylor does not owe me for anything after she agreed. Completely unprofessional experience. Taylor Thurgood also made racist comments during my installation making me feel uncomfortable. She knew the right thing to do but Debbie wanted to make sure I received nothing from this experience. All Taylor had to do was follow up and send the partial refund.

When Marcella did my hair, I always came to hair transitions. After Marcella left, I followed her then she had to quit doing hair for medical reasons. I asked Marcella to refer me to someone and she did. This person I only let her cut my hair twice, she never remembered me or how I wanted my hair cut. Because of this I left and went back to Hair Transitions, that's when I met Taylor. The first time she cut my hair, I told her that I wanted it short with layers since my hair is very fine. Unlike the other lady Taylor knew what I wanted. I have not been back to see Taylor in a few months. Today when I went in she knew who I was and how I wanted my hair cut. Taylor and all the hair stylist are very professional, helpful, and friendly. Thank you Taylor for doing such a wonderful job.
