“I enjoy this location because it's on your way to the Bay area and not too far away from the freeway. We usually stop to load up on snacks for the airport. Thai chili almonds and dried mangos are our favorites.”

“Small and plenty. The location and parking is quick and easy. The vendors and quality is great. I was able to get the yummiest spicy hummus and fresh pita chips. Produce and the deals were great and very nice customer service. I posted a pic (1/2 eaten) of J & J Farms Trail mix because for $5 not only was it a great amount the nuts are fresh and the raisins were plump and juicy. I'd like more raisins personally. Now I know why my in-laws are often wanting this farmers market to be in their Saturday morning routine. Next time, I'm getting some authentic Filipino cuisine, Dinuguan and got to try some lumpia because one must treat themselves. Also. I've been looking for local honey and this spot also has a vendor.”

“Very nice large grocery store. Mid priced, big store, good selection of grocery items. Normally pretty quick to check out, both self checkout and full service cashier.”

“I enjoy shopping at Foodmaxx, especially late at night when I'm usually by myself. There's one gentleman who works there who is unpleasant. I even told him to greet customers with a smile, but he replied that where he works doesn't warrant a smile. I was tempted to confront him, but I decided to let it go!!!!”

“I work for a non-profit that performs litter abatement on our highways. Our crews meet up daily for a pit-stop at the Safeway in Walnut Creek, and we typically take our breaks and lunches at one of the many Safeways in Contra Costa County, including Concord, Orinda, and Pleasant Hill.

We work hard, and sometimes our work is dangerous. We really appreciate the Safeway chain because the stores are so convenient, there are always great deals for members, and the Starbucks kiosks are so handy for when we're out of energy and in need of a boost later in the day.

I've never had a bad experience at Safeway.”
