I bought an Infiniti SUV from the auction and wanted to get a touch up paint job. Touch up meaning there were a few small chipped areas on the bumper, a small nic in the door and I wanted the emblem buffed off. I pull up and ask for an estimate on the work that needed to be done. First, I ask about buffing the emblem off the trunk. The employee tells me he can't buff off the emblem they would have to apply heat and paint the spot. I said ok how much the employee says $1000 because they have to paint the whole trunk door. I ask about the small chips on the bumper and he says $7000! What?! 7000?! I couldn't help but laugh. I paid less than that for the car and the chips were small in size. I ask him about a small nic in the door. When I say small the nic was about an inch in size(if that). The employee said he would have to repair the whole car door and that would run $2000. I listened and when done looking at the car the employee said " yeah it will cost you almost $10,000. For that much I can buy another car. I always look a various reasons for pricing. Gender and race has always played a part when it comes to receiving pricing on services. I'm a female one and when dealing with car places rather it's a dealership, a paint shop, an audio shop, ect. they tend to high ball women because they think we don't know anything. I have also experienced pricing based on race. Being an African American female when people don't want to do business with you they sky rocket the price so you can go elsewhere. Sooo, last month I had my Asian friend take my car down to the shop again and what do you know the price came down drastically. The nic became a minor easy fix (with heat) that he threw in the estimate for $50 bucks and the paint job for the bumper came down to $500. This employee which I'm realizing( as I look at the picture) is the owner wanted to charge me over $10,000 for a paint job. Lololololol!!!! I can't make this stuff up. My mother and I cracked up all the way home. If you don't want to deal with females or African Americans just say that. I ended up taking my car to shop a shop in Vallejo. My bumper was repainted for $400 and the dent was fixed for $100. Also, RX detailing buffed the emblem off for free and no paint was needed. It's sad people have to experience situations like this. Pricing should be fair and it shouldn't be based on race or gender. However, it does happen and it's a sad reality. If you are a woman or an African American woman go elsewhere.

I debadged my Stinger and went sideways. The paint peeled. Glad I found Dreams Auto Collision and Ricky was very helpful. I wanted the holes filled and painted. He did a fantastic job and my car was done in 3 days. Other places was trying to charge so much. His fee was very reasonable. Thank you so much! Job well done.

I had the absolutely best experience here. They were super quick and honest about the price. I had gotten another quote for the same job and they were about 400 less than my first quote. I brought my car to them to repair my bumper on a Tuesday and I picked it up on Friday morning. Super satisfied with the work

My son got into an accident before New Years Day when some idiot cut in front of him by turning left while in a lane that was supposed to go straight. Anyway, since my son had dash cam video as proof that the other driver was at fault, the insurance process to get our vehicle fixed was pretty fast. I decided to try a different body shop for the repair this time around because last yearr when my son got into another accident, our insurance suggested the repair be done at Husteads in Berkeley. I was not happy with the experience at Husteads for a number of reasons. They had the car for almost a month, they were out of the way (I'm in PINOLE), they gave me the run around every time I called them and I found out later that they took short cuts in the repair of my sons car. I also went to another body shop in Pinole before I went to Dreams but that other shop was not able to start the repairs until 3 weeks later and we needed this donE ASAP. We then drove to Dream's and the owner Ricky helped us right away. I gave Ricky the estimate from my insurance company and he not only explained the process of getting our car fixed, Ricky walked us through it step by step. I felt that the estimate was way short of what it should be and Ricky agreed and told me that he would work wIth my insUrance to get a "supplement" to add the repairs that wasn't on the first estimate. Ricky also kept me updated with the repairs while our car was in his shop. As opposed to me calling him. While the whole experience with Dream's Auto Body was great, the best part was that it only took them 2 weeks to complete the repair. When we went to pick up our car it looked like it did when we bought it brand new. Ricky explained what they did and what was replaced on my sons car. He showed us the parts that were removed and let me take some of the parts that I thought can be reused again if needed. I could go on about the entire experience that I had with Dream's but there's just too much to mention. This shop made the miserable experience of dealing with an auto accident a lot easier and a lot less stressful. I hope that I won't be needing to get body work done again any time soon, but if I do, I will definitely be going to Dream's and no where else.

Ricky is friendly, professional, and very well informed about the best way to deal with any damage to your car. Would come here anytime I need any work done on my car. There's a big parking lot with plenty of space. If you been in an accident, this place is where you should go.
