I have not been seeing family doctor for over 10 years. The services from the team of the doctor's office is excellent. It make my day as well that I felt that I get under good care of the professional teams.

Dr. Krasny is an outstanding doctor who is a great listener and knowledgeable ! I am fairly new to her care but have been seeing her often in the past 2 months. She impressed me with how thorough she is in investigating my issues, ordered all necessary labs and imaging, never delayed care and quickly involved other specialists accordingly so we can get to the bottom of my health issues. I feel involved in my care. She is amazing and I recommend her to any patient who is looking for a great provider!!
Thank you Dr. Krasny!!!!!! AH

I spoke with the supervisor. Read below for update.I'll start with the positive:The doctors are great! The location has nice peaceful lobby, well lit with high ceilings. Here's the negative:system is hard to navigate and confusing and full of unpleasant surprises. If you have mental health struggles and certain disabilities i don't recommend. There's little to no compassion when you call them. If you call and the receptionist is disrespectful to you, make sure to speak to them in a calm voice, never using a swear word no matter what, even if they are short tempered and rude to you. Their policy is to hang up on you otherwise. Patients are tone policed. If you're trans and or non-binary this is not a good place to go in my opinion.I'm apparently not allowed to use what they deem as fowl language like saying ''oh s****** but it's fine for the receptionists to misgender me according to their superiors.Beware of unnecessary depression screenings, you don't have to be screened annually if you don't want to and will save money. You might find out some lab tests aren't covered by your insurance after they already drew your blood. They do tell you that your insurance doesn't cover it, so you get to choose if you want to pay for the test to go through or not. If that's your sole reason for going to an appointment , have to take off work or something like that, you might waste your time.Might be good to call before appointments for blood tests to be sure its covered by your insurance.Final thoughts:This place has potential if they fix their issues with compassion deficits, patient relations, navigation and communication. They do have great doctors. It's really disappointing. I assumed with Stanford being in the picture, being considered reputable, would be allowing this place to be run how it is. Great doctors working in what appears to be a damaged or even broken medical establishment. This has been a bewildering experience. I now get panic attacks when i call them. I am going to change my healthcare provider ASAP.I wish compassionate, quality healthcare services to available for everyone of you!Healthcare is a human right!Update: Conversation with supervisor,The supervisor said that what the receptionists did is not okay, and that they will receive additional training. I was also told that they will be working on updating their system for non-binary and trans folks to not be misgendered and dead named. I now have doubts that they have recognized trans and non-binary patients as a whole in their system. Many of whom that may be too worn down to speak up. One of the people who said patients cant swear and must speak calmly is someone from another department of Stanford Alliance Medical Group according to the supervisor. So this is a deeper systemic issue.I felt pretty emotionally worn down by the time we spoke. The supervisor sounded empathetic in tone and heard out some of my concerns and validated some of my feelings from the experiences i had. I did however feel like the conversation was rushed. I had a hard time expressing everything that i wanted to. My disability makes it hard at times for me to organize thoughts and i can have a hard time with focus. I was having a hard time stating the problems i was having, getting distracted by the supervisor apologizing for what happened and telling me again that they were going to give the receptionists more training so this will not happen again. Our conversation gave me one big red flag: It appears that the receptionists were never given training, or were given inadequate training in working with patients who have mental health struggles, various disabilities and LGBTQ+ patients. I think that Alliance Medical Group needs to do better with meeting the multifaceted needs and considerations of the various communities they serve. The healthcare here is not accessible for all patients whom have these sorts of issues based on my experiences. I do believe that what i have generally experienced amounts to being dis

I recently changed jobs so my insurance also changed as well. It was definitely quite a change considering I had Kaiser established for quite a few years and to go back out to a PPO, was definitely a challenge as it took months out to be seen as a new patient with Stanford Healthcare just to establish myself into the Network which means my whole family would have to go through the rigamarole. In any event, I was placed on the wait list for cancellations as my originally scheduled appt was in January 2023 and I called for an appt back in July. Crazy, I know but as they have availability, they would send you an email and I suppose it's first come first serve as there have been times in which I responded and the new date was no longer available.I did, however, get seen in October with Dr Khullar as I made my way from Oakland to Pinole. It wasn't terrible but was hoping for something closer to Oakland. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised as how quickly I was seen and just how friendly and pleasant everyone was from the front desk, Medical Assistant, the Doctor and even the lady at the Check Out counter. Overall, I had a great experience as a new patient and actually considering keeping her.

Well, it used to be a pretty normal doctor's office but over the last year they've gotten weird. I see one doc and they tell me ok see u in a year, I call for med refill they say i was supposed to come every 6mo or else no meds; so I go and then call for refill next time, they say i have to come every 3 months and since it's been 4 months they won't refill. I think my doctor decides to fill meds if she's in a good mood, honestly. It makes no sense. It's ridiculous. This practice is crap.

My daughter went in 2wks ago, waited over a hour to be seen, they didn't even touch her and proscribed medication that ended up making her worse. Ended up in the ER. Scheduled a follow up, arrived 10min late due to construction in front of the doctors office, waited another 10mins for an elderly woman who was fighting to have her elderly husband to be seen but were turned away until 3pm. It was 1130am. We ended up being checked in at 11:38 our app. Was for 1120. At 1215 we were told we were rescheduled for Wednesday. Today is Friday. We wait in waiting rooms for 40mins, to be called in to another waiting room to wait 30mins. But if you're 10mins late. You can't be seen. F@!king ridiculous.

So glad that Dr. Shah is my doctor. She is very attentive, caring and willing to take time in listening to any concern that I might have about my condition. She gives good suggestions that I am comfortable with. Very prompt in returning emails. I regard good health is the best thing in life, and we all need a good doctor to care for us in that direction. Dr. Shah is knowledgeable, compassionate. I feel comfortable and confident having her as my primary doctor. Anyone needs a good doctor, call the Pinole office and ask for Dr. Seema Shah. Office is clean, waiting time is not long and there's good nursing practitioners, nurses and friendly staff.

I'm surprised to see that this doctors office has so many negative reviews. I've been coming here for the last couple years for a variety of common ailments/ exams and have had zero problems. Everyone from the receptionists to the nurses and my doctor are always amazing. My appointments are on time (maximum of a 5 wait), the nurses are caring and gentle, and my doctor takes the time to listen to every concern I have. They don't seem rushed and genuinely care for your health and wellbeing. The facility is exceptionally clean.

Very rude experience with Diane. Wish I coild have provided no stars. At the very least she said " have a good morning" at the the end of the conversation. I understand we are in a global pandemic, I am essential employee as well, but people should still show courtesy and respect during phone calls.

Would rate a zero if I could. Alliance Medical Group providers and staff DO NOT care for their patients and DO NOT make their patient's health a priority. My mom has high blood pressure that is well controlled with medication for many years. With one week of medication remaining she called her pharmacist for medication refill. Pharmacist kindly informed my mother she had no refill remaining and needed to contact her PCP. Mom called PCP's office and was informed she needed to make an appointment before medication refill. Very well, appointment scheduled for June with labs pending. One week later, no medication. 2 weeks later, no medication. After going 2 weeks without her hypertension medication, Mom asked me to call her PCP's office. I called and the MA relayed the same message. I informed her, my mother has an appointment scheduled and needs her medication refill as her blood pressure is elevated. MA said she would put in a medication request to the doctor. Later that evening, mom returns home from work with calls from her PCP's office stating they WILL NOT fill her hypertension prescription until she is seen in the office. (She has not been in to her PCP's office for the past year due to COVID.) In the meantime, she will continue to be without her hypertension medication; her rising blood pressure is also causing anxiety. Her PCP has put her at risk for heart attack and stroke, which they are aware of and they DO NOT CARE. In addition to hypertension, they've caused her to have anxiety. GREAT job Alliance Medical Group - you've displayed you have no compassion for your patient.

I had a virtual appointment with Stanford Alliance. The staff wasn't helpful with the Webcam assistance. Dr Guevara prescribed me my medication least than what my previous doctor gave me for my supply. Called them, but nothing happened. Its been past a month now and never got my list of blood test in the mail as he advised me to get some blood works. Very unhappy with their service.

I used to be very please with this clinic, once in a while I would get disappointed because of their rudeness, but last week was the icing on the cake. I had an appointment with my Dr. after I messaged her my symptoms and she did not ask me to go get a covid test or to go to the ER. because my symptoms were not covid related.Once I was at the clinic, I got through the temperature check point, covid questionnaire and so on. But as soon as her assistant saw me, it was like I had leprosy. nodding her head no, no, no you shouldn't be here.... I mentioned to her that it could be sinus infection, ear infection, menopause, MSG sensitivity....bla bla bla.. she comes back and said that my dr would talk to me from my car through my phone....and escorted me out of the clinic. This is after I also mentioned that I have been working this whole quarantine time.I was so hurt and humiliated that by the time I got to my car I was crying.i sent my dr a message of how I felt and still she has not replied to me. She just calls me to talk to me, but I'm so hurt that I want nothing to do with them anymore. Time for a new dr.

I've been a patient with the AMG for many years. My doctor, Elizabeth A. Anthony, M.D. was a great physician. She was very diligent and forthright in talking to you about your care and prevention. I'm sad that she's unable to work due to this pandemic, but she placed my care in the hands of Seema P. Shah, M. D. So far Dr. Shah has been alright. Unlike, Dr. Anthony who knew my history better it will take time. It's my hope that over time, Dr. Shah will emit the same compassionate and concern for my well-being as Dr. Anthony did. We shall see. I have to give them 4 stars because they have shown professionalism in there care and appointment scheduling.

It is no wonder this office has only a three star rating. I would've given zero stars. This office has had the pleasure of delivering INCORRECT diagnosis multiple times and not owning up to it. This office has also repeatedly given both my spouse and I incorrect information and details regarding very serious health challenges. I decided to let them know how inappropriate their behavior and "treatment" has been and they've provided zero support. Thanks for the very little "care" we've received from you.
