Pine Valley Store is an excellent stop for a quick, solid bite to eat or to break a long journey. It is a very nice, well-kept store that is very convenient on the mountain, making it a good partner during a trip. The service staff are very friendly and the owners are very kind. Many people make a stop here on their trips to find things to eat along the way. The food is a highlight, offering the greatest pizza ever and exceptional homemade brownies, including Bob's Killer Brownies, which leave a huge impact. Their BLTA sandwich is impressive, with thinly sliced tomatoes, perfect mayo spread, generous perfectly cooked bacon, a healthy bed of shredded lettuce for crunch, and lightly toasted bread. It is a quality option in an area where food can be pricey. While the petrol station outside may have higher-than-average prices, the store itself is a highly recommended spot for a quick picnic or a meal combined with fries from across the street.

Came here in April of 2022 on a road trip from Florida to California. Bob's Killer Brownies left a huge impact on my taste buds and I, and would be the sole reason I ever come back to California. 😋
