“Finally made my way over to McMullen and it exceeded my expectations! The store is truely stunning, everywhere you turn phenomenal taste. We came over to get a dress for my mom for my wedding and the ladies picked out some wonderful pieces I never would have thought she’d try on, exceptional service. I couldn’t believe have much inventory they had, we could have been there all day and left with a whole new fall and special occasion wardrobe. Feels like I finally have a place to shop in person in the Bay Area again, can’t wait to go back!”

He invited our groomsmen to his store after hours and hosted a fitting. All the gentleman Bob works with are so professional. And his recommendations were Unwavering. Unfortunately a vendor didn't offer the tux we originally wanted, but with Bob's help, he found us one even better! Being so generous with his time was more than we could've ever asked for. “Amber is a wizard. She took my two tone, brassy hair and matched it perfectly to my natural color in two and a half hours. She's so sweet and unpretentious, and the store has more style than pretty much anywhere else in Oakland. Other salons cost twice as much and give you a much worse experience. Amber is a truly awesome hairstylist and I can't recommend her enough.”

“Lovely little space that I've visited twice now on my random travels through the bay. The main person that has been at the counter the 2 times I have gone in is wonderfully kind, super engaging, and very genuine. They even took time to write down locations for me to check out both for other metaphysical shops, and also for vegan food recommendations. I love their collection of incense (especially the Madre Sagradra line), and even though a good amount of it is pretty costly, I prefer to support local business instead of buying through the supplier's website. This shop offers a small amount of clothing, crystals & stones, jewelry, books, Tarot cards (and readings), herbs and more. I will make it a point to visit, support, and restock my incense collection whenever I'm in town.I do have one complaint, and that is regarding the sweetgrass I purchased here. It is not regular sweetgrass - it is very hard, not grassy at all, and doesn't produce the best (or much of any) scent. Not sure where their sweetgrass is sourced from, but I highly recommend a different source.”

She found a perfect dress quickly, and then found a matching scarf that completed the outfit. She was friendly and very helpful. I found two other basics--summer skirts--that will also be great wardrobe items. I had already tried Nordstrom and Macy's with no luck, so I was particularly grateful for this place right in Montclair.”
