We recently bought new floors from Danny at simplefloors and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. First off we had gone to a few stores to find out our options and most do not help with the education process and letting you know what will work best, this was not the case with Danny! He not only gave us an education but was very pleasant to do business with. We began installing our floors yesterday, and they look fantastic! We couldn't be happier with the look, the price and the quality. I highly recommend simplefloors and Danny. They definitely get 5 stars from us.

Because of precious reviews, I contacted Simple Floors to do a very small repair job on my not-so-long-ago new floors. Everyone from the person who answered the phone, Prince - who really was a Prince- to the person who did the work were fair, professional and very, very competent. David, who was the craftsman who worked on this problematic area was incredibly gracious when I thought the job was not yet complete and he thought it was. He met my request to do a little bit more and the job, though not cheap, exceeded my expectations.

I highly recommend Simple Floors! Prince, Yani, the office staff, and the entire team were extremely helpful. They showed up on time to the estimate/consultation appointment and on the installation day, and were communicative and thorough without being overbearing. I wish my insurance company had paired us together from the beginning! So thankful for the quality work that they completed and would definitely use them for future projects.

I contacted company after company to find someone who could patch my floor and I got nowhere for a year. Then I noticed Simple Floors when I was at the hardware store on Grand and bingo! My "impossible" problem was solved! Prince found a perfect match for my teak floor and quoted me a very fair price within a week! I was so impressed with the professionalism of this company after talking to the estimator that I decided to go with the wooden floors in the living room too. They did the work while I was out of town, communicated promptly and thoughtfully, and did a beautiful job. The whole experience was as close to painless as remodeling can get! My floor just takes my breath away!

There was a problem with the Everbright flooring peeling at the edges but this review is for Simple Floors and Carlos in particular for going to great lengths to find matching flooring and replacing the defective floor. I have also used them for other flooring projects and highly recommend. Many thanks

We recently worked with Simple Floors Oakland to demo and level the old floor in our basement/rec room, and select and install new flooring - including custom work on a difficult stairway. We could not be happier with the friendly and knowledgeable service we receive, the fair and transparent pricing, and the excellent craftsmanship of the installation crew. We love the results, and would highly recommend this friendly, tight-knit, locally owned company.

We had a leak that required replacement of the floors in our tv room and wine cellar. I contacted a number of flooring companies regarding bamboo. Simple Floors had the expertise I needed to select new flooring and meet both my design aesthetic and comfort/durability requirements. The owner Christian Rodriquez was personally involved in the process by coming out to view the area, take measurements and provide quality assurance. The quote was fair and the product was installed in record time. We are very happy and will use them for future flooring needs. Highly recommend!

We were trying to decide whether to repair our floors or replace them. Simple Floors said they could do either. We decided to fix our problem, and then revisit new floors sometime in the future. Simple Floors pulled a b******* move and are suddenly saying they don't feel comfortable doing this job bc of the poor quality of the flooring materials and bc they don't usually work on or install products not purchased from them. This is after trying to get a return call for weeks to schedule the work. It's completely inconsiderate that they wasted a month of our time leading us on saying they had no issue with this option. Completely unprofessional.

Had an amazing experience at Simple Floors. Christian and team are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The team did a full reflooring of my 2br 2ba condo in Oakland. The HOA for my building has a rigorous process for approving architectural changes. I've been wanting to remodel for years now and never got around to it because the regulations felt overwhelming. Christain handled the full approval for me, including working with my HOA to conduct sound engineering. When it came time for the project itself, the process was just as smooth as the upstream work. Christain quoted a timeline for completing the job. I assumed it would take longer than he said based on my past experiences with contractors. They finished everything perfectly on time. Bear in mind that I was living and working from home for remodel, and everything was frictionless. Wholeheartedly would recommend Simple Floors for your next project.

Please note that Jamie and Christian are the same guys from Simple floors originally from the previous Oakland store that was located on 88th Avenue and San Leandro Blvd. I have been dealing with them for years and they are the only flooring company I trust to refer friends and clients to. Jamie or Christian are always helpful and really know their stuff. They will never over sell a particular item and have quality flooring. Don't forget your padding. Replaced custom kitchen tile floor with White Oak wood . The selection Jaime (Grand Ave, Oakland) presented nicely tied the entire room together in an attractive manner. The installation process went seamlessly. The product continues to meet my high expectations. Based on the professional manner Simple Floors presented throughout the entire experience, I must give a well deserved 5 starts.

In replacing a custom tile floor, hard wood was one option. Once I met Jaime in the Grand Ave store and reviewed his many choices, I made up my mind. I appreciated his views based on solid experience. A kitchen wood floor could be both attractive and functional in an older traditional home. And, once we agreed on the best selection for my home, I was sold. But, could I get the new floor installed by Christmas dinner? I had 24 guests coming. We reviewed a tight timeline and Jaime kept me informed along the way. I was able to get my first choice- the White Oak. I continued to be impressed as each phase unfolded. The demolotion of the old floor, delivery and installation of the new floor went seamlessly- as one would expect of a reputable company. I have just enough experience in life to tend to then make decisions wisely and then expect high performance in return. Based on a solid product and excellent installation, I must give proper credit to Simple Floor. And, did I note every person I dealt with was pleasant and professional. FIVE STARS earned!

We had a great experience with Simple Floors. I was a little hesitant to work with a mainstream type of company, but we really lucked out. After a long house hunting process we settled on buying a condo. We wanted to upgrade the kitchen, floors, and lighting and had no idea where to start. We walked into Simple Floors and met Jamie. It was busy but he was very friendly and knowledgeable. After browsing, we decided we wanted cork flooring and landed on the color "Ocean Oak." My SO later set up installation with Jamie. Out of all the contractors we worked with for our remodel, Simple Floors was the easiest. They were accommodating to our schedule changes and attentive to the HOA requirements and deadlines we had for our condo. The installation was a breeze and came out beautifully. We are very happy with the results!
