I have gone here for years for small things, tire leaks, smog checks. Always friendly and willing to fit me in. Recently I had a bigger problem and decided to try them out. Turned out to be a bit complicated and they had to order a part, but they fixed it quickly and the price was right. Even gave me a quick ride home since it would take a while. Very willing to explain everything and answer all questions. I dealt with three different mechanics over two days -- all of them were expert and friendly and knew what was going on with my car. I will be going there again for regular service in addition to the small stuff!

This mechanic use to be amazing; close to where I live, quick and good work, and great communications.Now, not so much.I asked for work to be done; they did work I did not ask for. They gave me an oil change when I didn't ask for one.They don't communicate anymore, even keeping my car overnight without an update until I walked down to talk to them about it.The night mechanic doesn't really communicate with the day mechanic/day time manager so you can't even get a straight answer from the night mechanic, albeit not his fault.I have had a heating issue that I've brought in 3 times now to get fixed and every time, the "fix" lasts for a week or so.One of the mechanics told me that this shop no longer does any big work and will only do things like oil changes, etc.I don't know what's going on with this shop, maybe it's been an influx of new customers.What made this shop great is no longer true and I won't be spending my money here anymore.I think if you're just looking for small things, i.e. an oil change, you can rely on this shop but be sure to either check in on them yourselves or don't be expecting any communications.

I've gotten two oil changes and one repair here. Sandro and the crew have provided honest, courteous, and reasonably priced service. I like to go to service stations for an oil change, even though I may have to make an appointment, because the service is more personal and the cost is the same, at least here.

This story has a happy ending. One of their mechanics made a mistake while doing an oil change on my car. (He is no longer working for them.) Jeff, the owner, assured me that, if anything showed up wrong with the car related to the mistake, he would take care of it. And he was true to his word! Something did go wrong that was most likely caused by the mechanic's error. Certainly, I firmly believe that the problem was caused by the mistake, and my internet research supports that the mistake was the most likely and common cause of the problem. Jeff could have argued other causes and insisted that I pay for the needed work. He didn't. They fixed the problem and didn't charge me. I appreciate the integrity of Jeff and the good work of the mechanic who fixed my car. Thank you both!

Brought car in for oil change and tire rotation. I've been having problems with tire pressure on newish tires and they've been very helpful. Asked them to check tire that was 5+ pounds low and if they had cold weather washer fluid to fill up low level. (car goes to Sierras often). Yes they could get it. Picked car up. No evidence that they checked for leak. And they used the wrong washer fluid! Jeff was there. Rude and dismissive. That's the short version. "32 degree fluid is no problem for cold temperatures". So Wrong. Among other things. I can understand that there might be problems--tire not checked for leak, wrong fluid, etc. but I cannot understand rude and hostile behavior. I'll bring husband in when they have to drain the wrong fluid. Then I'll never go there again.

These guys are the best!! Super straight forward and no BS. If they have availability they are happy to help and can also schedule services. A little old school where you’ll have to swing by in person to do that sometimes because they won’t always answer the phone. I got my head gasket replaced on my Honda and my car runs like a dream. Everyone is helpful, friendly, and it’s a super solid car repair shop. As someone who’s been in the bay for 10 years and has tried many shops, this one is the best so far.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

I had a leaking tire valve stem on a Sunday, when most places aren't open. Stopped by and was helped incredibly quickly, and was out in five minutes with a replacement valve core installed. The mechanic who helped me was very kind and thorough, taking the time to check and top off all of my other tires as well, and wouldn't even charge me for the replacement part or the work. First time here but will be back for any future car needs, they feel like an honest place that takes pride in providing great service.Service: Tires

My tire had a nail in it and was flat. I had AAA put on my spare last night and then went to Piedmont Shell in the morning. They had a ton of business, but took my tire and repaired it quickly. Then they put on my repaired tire and put the spare back which was no easy task. Then they checked my other tires and found a screw in a different tire. Repaired that too and only charged me $30. I was out of there in 30 minutes. Amazing! These guys are the best.

The friendliest gas station and repair facility around. This is the place I go when my car has a little problem that a little attention will fix. These guys always help me with a smile.
