I highly recommend the team of Deidre Joyner and Nicole Paez from Red Oak Realty. They were responsive, informative, professional, kind, efficient, knowledgable, patient experienced, an effective team and a pleasure to work with. They helped me to find and purchase a property which meets all of my needs and specifications. They referred me to a lending agent , Brenda Wyatt from Lasalle Mortgage wno is no less than super. She epitomizes kind professionalism and effectiveness. I am truly grateful to her as well. My team effectively helped to negotiate significant credits and gifted me a home warranty! deidre and nicole are amazing real estate agents. from the very beginning of working with deidre, i knew we were in the right hands - she is incredibly knowledgeable, which is priceless in this cutthroat Bay Area housing market. she took the time to explain every single detail every step of the way, and worked tirelessly to find our family the best house for us. deidre is a straight-shooter, and we appreciated her honesty, asking us thoughtful questions that pushed us to get clear on what was most important to us for our new home. she managed to find us everything we were looking for in an incredible neighborhood, and we couldn't be more excited and grateful. do yourself a huge favor and work with with deidre!

We worked with Deidre and Nicole to help us purchase our home in Berkeley. We wanted to work with a top realtor in order to help us be more competitive in what was an extremely challenging environment for buyers, and I am grateful for our decision to work with Deidre every day that I wake up in my newly purchased Berkeley home. Not only are Deidre and Nicole incredibly nice and honest people, but their professionalism, knowledge of the East Bay real estate market, long standing relationships (and stellar reputation) with many of the selling realtors in the area, incredibly detail oriented disclosure reviews, honest feedback, investment expertise, and real time information about local deals makes them invaluable partners for supporting buyers with a home purchase in the East Bay. If it wasn't for Deidre, I have no doubt that we would not have landed in this most amazing neighborhood in Berkeley. Nicole once told me that we would end up with the house that we were meant to have, and I really believe that this happened because we worked with the right realtor in a hyper competitive environment. Not only did Deidre and Nicole provide us with stellar support during our home buying journey (and yes... it was a real journey!) and enable a seamless closing process, but Deidre has been in regular contact with us since we moved in. I've had the pleasure of working with Deidre and Nicole to buy my first house. Deidre came highly recommended from a good friend of mine, and have lived up to her stellar reputation. Buying a house was a very stressful process and Deidre managed to make it manageable - without her expertise I would've been lost, and probably would've made some poor decisions.Throughout the process of looking at potential places, submitting an offer and closing she gave me plenty of good and helpful advice - what things I should be looking at, what might I possibly be missing, pointed out things that seem off, insights about the location and neighborhoods, going over inspection reports, arranging for an inspection on a short notice through her personal connections, even noticing a potential issue that the original inspection company had not mentioned in their report, and then taking the time to inquire with them about it.She is an expert, and very knowledgable of the field. She always responded quickly, at all hours of the day and every day of the week and got me the information I needed to make decisions.I would absolutely be recommending her and Nicole to my friends.

It was such an absolute blessing to work with Deidre and her team to sell our house. After what had been a tremendously difficult year followed by an even more difficult decision to sell our dream home, Deidre came to the table with compassion, thoughtfulness, grace and encouragement. I had the pleasure of working with Deidre and her team to sell our beloved condo last year. Deidre was very communicative and honest with us during the entire process. She went above and beyond to help ensure that our place was properly presented to potential buyers. She held our hands every step of the way with her wealth of knowledge and her friendly and calm demeanor was a definite plus! She got our place sold during the pandemic at a time that condos were not particularly the crowd favorite. During the pandemic myself and my girlfriend became desperate for a larger place to live, one with room for us to take calls in separate offices while working from home. Being first-time homebuyers was nerve wracking enough, we were even more stressed to understand the housing landscape in the East Bay during COVID. We interviewed a handful of agents, but Deidre was the only one that had a track record and unbiased advice that gave us peace of mind. Turns out it was one of the best decisions we made!Finding a property that was functional, met our needs for style, was in the right location, and the right school district proved to be a challenge, but Deidre and her associate Nicole never gave up. Working together they were able to find several properties that we loved and others we found they were able to help advise us on. Many times we needed to get into houses to tour them with very tight turn arounds and the two of them were always putting in the extra mile to help us out. There were many houses that we put offers on and we were not able to win, which was very emotionally taxing. Fortunately, Deidre and Nicole were always empathetic to us and gave us great words of encouragement to keep trying.Throughout the process of inspecting homes, securing a lender, making offers, and while organizing closing, Deidre was able to help with her massive network of connections. We were blown away by her ability to connect us with the right people to make sure we were safe and efficient in our transactions. The amount of people to find the right house and buy it is a very daunting task which was easily resolved by Deidre.True to Deidre's word, the property we ended up purchasing was much better than any of the other ones that we lost out on. Somehow Deidre finds a way to exceed expectations even in a crazy market like this one.
