“I haven’t felt a warm vibe in every shop on Piedmont and vintage stores can be kind of snobby sometimes but I’m happy to say that that frigidaire environment has NOT been my experience at Sunshine Prophecy. The vibe is super warm and inviting; There is ALWAYS good music playing; The employees there are always very patient with any of my (often MANY haha) questions; — AND I’ve never felt pressure to buy anything if I wasn’t ready. — That is especially important to me bc in order to budget I purposely do LONG leads on items I’m interested in. I might stop in once or twice and ask questions/do price checks before I finally treat myself and they always treat me like a paid customer. Clothes, jewelry, purses are cute. LOVE their witchy candles, herbs, and TAROT CARDS. It seems like the owner of this store had more of a “creative calling ” then just a bottom line in starting this business.”

“SIYA is a gem! This place isn’t comparable to any other Indian clothes shopping experience I’ve had. Found out about them from a family member who always has the best outfits. It’s my go to spot now. Their selection is fantastic, offering a wide range of high-quality options for all occasions. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Sonu is super helpful—both really go out of their way to style you for the events you're shopping for. I was able to get several outfits for my brother's wedding and my best friend's wedding within a day, and every piece was unique and beautiful. They even tailored everything, and the fit was perfect. One blouse needed to be fixed again and they were so kind and quick about it. They truly care that their clients are well taken care of. The prices reflect the quality you’re getting—well worth it! I also found gorgeous matching jewelry to complete my looks that the owner hand selected and was patient while I figured out what I liked best. My husband got three outfits and couldn’t be more excited to have high-quality Indian clothes, from a hassle free, fast, and easy shopping experience. “ODP is a quality clothing line from my hometown of Oakland Ca it's a amazing line because not only can you wear the brand the CEO also does things for the community she has backpack and free haircuts for the kids and I met the CEO when she was starting the brand and I've seen it go from shirts and hats and hoodies to a full expanded clothing line and I'm plus size girl and she's always had sizes from the kids to 4x and that was a major plus for me!”

“When I came across this store it was as if the clouds had parted to let the sun shine down on me. Yeah I’m exaggerating but it’s a cool store and the dude who runs it seems laxed. But when he asks you “how much do you think it’s worth?” I recommend quoting some outrageous price and wait for his counter offer. I mean it’s negotiating 101. But when you’re desperate for money, you’ll just be happy if somebody is willing to pay you anything. A mistake I shan’t make again. “This place has been absolutely outstanding when it comes to tailoring my clothes! I have taken a countless amount of clothes specifically pants here to get hemmed in length and to adjust waist size. All I can say is that every pair comes out perfect! If you want high quality hemming for your clothes at a great price I highly recommend Mr. Lee's!! Edit: I forgot I left a review for Lee's co a couple days ago already but I will leave this second review up cause this place is that good!! I just picked up 4 pants today length was perfectly hemmed and the waist perfectly fit me! The hemming and stitching is so high quality you can't even tell it was hemmed! I am honestly so impressed!”

“I love this shop. It's my neighborhood place to go for everything I could possibly want when it comes to shopping for new clothing, shoes and accessories. I love popping in at least once or twice a month. When I visit, I like to survey the store and I always seem to find something new or what I want. The merchandise is of quality brands , with trendy and unique items that make it the boutque it is. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful, and are a long time buiness. I kind of consider them a neighborhood institution. They are a huge anchor in this distric. One of my go to's.”

(And for less than $40!)I also needed very chic trousers a bit reminiscent of Katharine Hepburn, that I can wear all year, because I need all the help as I can get to reach my goal of casual elegance - still unattained but these things will get me closer, lol.Whoever does the buying has a great design sense. If you are looking to add more color or geometric designs to your household, there's a drool-worthy section of constellation-inspired houseware (like salt cellars with stars on them) and beautiful basket planters all over the shop.”

“Finally made my way over to McMullen and it exceeded my expectations! The store is truely stunning, everywhere you turn phenomenal taste. We came over to get a dress for my mom for my wedding and the ladies picked out some wonderful pieces I never would have thought she’d try on, exceptional service. I couldn’t believe have much inventory they had, we could have been there all day and left with a whole new fall and special occasion wardrobe. Feels like I finally have a place to shop in person in the Bay Area again, can’t wait to go back!”
