This bank has been shut down since the Pandemic March 2020. I think they are just making excuses not open...very annoying.

The branch may be temporarily closed, but the ATM is full of cash and working! In Piedmont, a typical household earns over $207,222. Good to know the bank still can service the ATM for the community in dire times! FYI, the daily limit for cash withdrawals is $1000.

I hate Bank of America. They just put an 11 day hold on a check. Crazy! Do not ever use Bank of America. They steal. Do not let your friends go here. Do not accept checks from this bank.

This branch has always been more than helpful and courteous to me. I come in every week with business deposits and understand they can be tedious. I've never had a bad experience with any teller but Bruce is my main man. He always goes above and beyond for me. Thanks so much for keeping things moving. Best BofA in the bay.

Does there have to be stars for rating? Ridiculous how their online appointment scheduler is always full. I had an appointment at noon. Got there and two associates were working with one client. Teller asks me to take a seat and wait. Five minutes into the wait, the associates apparently still did not know I was standing there waiting even though I was the only other customer there. Not waiting any longer. So I left. My time is equally as important as theirs, if not more because I had to take time off work (aka not get paid) to make this appointment.

Some of this is the responsibility of Virginia Mayer, some of it is the responsibility of BofA's website communication. I scheduled an appointment for notary services for Power of Attorney documents, etc. My bad: I was 20 minutes late to the appointment and showed up sweating since I rode my bike there (I do not own a car). Virginia was somewhat pleasant, asked if I was Tara and told me she had been waiting for me. She also handed me tissues to... wipe up my face? When I showed her my documents, it was clear that it looked foreign to her. She got her stamp and log book, and then asked me if I had any BofA POA documents. Not sure what that is, nor did she explain it well. She said that the notary services are only for BofA documents, but she'd make an exception for me (thank goodness, since I literally worked my butt off to make it up the Piedmont hill). Suddenly, she remembered something, went to the back, and came out to tell me that she forgot she received a notice yesterday that her notary certification would not allow her to witness me signing those documents. Her manager was on the phone with UPS to confirm that they could see me, which was a nice gesture. As I was packing my stuff up, she asked me to wait in the lobby so she could help some customers waiting. She stood right next to me, as though she wanted me to immediately get up and move. I felt rushed off, and it just seemed odd that she suddenly remembered that just yesterday she received a notice about her notary abilities. Overall, I feel that BofA needs to be more specific on their website: "Notary services are available at some financial centers and are provided to Bank of America customers at no charge for most types of transactions." Secondly, I feel it would be a GREAT gesture to call customers who schedule appointments online to confirm with them what type of documents they are looking to get notarized. I literally derailed my entire afternoon (since I do not own a car) to be tugged out of the office like a bad comic act. Thirdly, I have a sneaking suspicion that she made up a lie so she could keep with her scheduled appointments, and since these weren't documents she normally notarizes, she knew it would take her an extra long time. SWITCH TO CREDIT UNIONS!!!!

OUR Bank of America. Established in San Francisco in 1938 by Californian's and particularly Bay Area Citizens. Now, a North Carolina corporation with branches run by just about anyone with the ability to say, "Welcome to Bank of America". Otherwise, this company is being run into the ground. I am particularly speaking of my local neighborhood branch in Piedmont, CA. My branch now closes at 5:30 on Friday and is closed on Saturday. Here is why it's closed. Customers do most of the banking through ATM. True. It's closed because the managers are only there to answer your questions and perform your needs. They offer no more than they are required to do. Here is why B of A loses. Piedmont is a HUB of influential and wealthy people. The bank could and should be more than a place to just put your money. Since these people hold your money, it should be a place you get to know your customer. You need to know what they do with their money and how you can serve them. I would venture to say there are scores of people that are worth 100's of millions. And who manages the place; Some idiot that you cannot have a discussion about money or politics or food or travel. A bank is a bank, and a safe is a safe. A bank has at least one person that encourages you to house your money and encourages you to borrow. A banker is like your favorite uncle. He encourages you to borrow and take risks. If I ran the Piedmont branch of Bank of America. It would be open 7 days a week. I don't care if its completely empty everyday. If it is, its because the managers are idiots. Just across the street is the Wells Fargo. The employees meet and greet with complete understanding of who you are. I would say, there is not a single branch of B of A that isn't a shame. They are the worst..

Worst banking experience ever with zero personal attention. Convenient for deposits is all I use it for I am still waiting for a problem wx statements to be resolved after going in twice and calling many times. It's been a year plus and now here I sit at another branch going well into an hour . If I could have solved it over phone I would have but missing some password I never created so in person again necessary Will be changing banks this year after 30+ years
