“I had a blast at the comedy club a few weeks ago! My server was Priscilla and she did amazing. Very cool lady with awesome vibes. My drink was tasty (Red Queen) too.I was there right when doors opened so I was seated in the front of the stage. The place is a nice size but they pack everyone in pretty good. I was in the first seat of the row so I had leg room thank God.The main reason I went was for Chaunte Wayans and she did not disappoint! I really enjoyed her style of comedy.”

“I went to a wedding reception here...have to say it's a pretty cool place to have a party or venue...it's in the industrial part of town..so loud music is no problem..and the building is old with it's awesome new deco vibe...the parking outside kinda sucks...and definitely not in the greatest and safest area of downtown Boyle Heights..but still..it's definitely a great place to consider...I would go to this place again and again..”

“Beautiful set up for a Wedding, sweet 16 or quinceanera. Has small stage for DJ or live band. Clean restrooms. Has bar. There is an outdoor gazebo, however not enough chairs were put out for the event”
“This is our favorite bowling alley. It still has that vintage bowling alley feel from the aesthetic down to the smell. The staff is super sweet and diligent and the lanes are well maintained. They have beer for those who enjoy a brew while bowling and they have vending machines for snacks. We have celebrated multiple birthdays here which the staff has always been super accommodating to. We've been coming here on Sundays for their special pricing for over a year now. We love seeing the same familiar friendly faces. Highly recommend this place”

“If your looking for a venue to host your wedding, sweet 16, 50th, orr whatever your need may be, Crystal Marquis is the place to have it.Alexis, Mariah and Art are beyond fabulous. From the minute you sit down with them to tell them your vision, they work to make it happen. They take all the stress and worry with planning so you don't have to. They are in constant communication with any questions, updates or just to see how you are doing.The day of your event, Alexis, Mariah and Art and the whole staff make your event stress free and memorable. We had a couple of issues arise with the guest dietary needs during the dinner. Alexis and Mariah and the chef handled it beautifully. Alexis had let me know what they had did for the guests to make sure they were able to enjoy the whole event.What more could you ask for? Crystal Marquis is the best!!”

“I initially went here today to get my gas bill paid, but the funding was exhausted. I met Evelyn, and we hit it right off. Everything in my life was going wrong, and I DO mean everything. My mom passed away in 2017, my close friend and landlord Jerald (the first person I met when I came to California in 1977) had a quadruple bypass surgery 11 days ago (he's healing well, for 84 years), and my good friend Erik passed away 4 days ago, I have known him since I came to California too. Don't worry, I am seeing a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, things have been that bad. And in comes Evelyn. She went above and beyond to help me out, she paid the electric bill (I have to call her on Jan. 2 to make sure about gas funding), and to top it all off, she brought me a cart full of groceries, all name brand and all stuff we use. She is truly an angel on this Earth. She deserves a much-needed raise. She didn't have to do the things she did. And she was so pleasant and upbeat, it completely changed my frame of mind. “So, guess what? At Jump Jungle today, I spotted someone pulling off the last block from the wall, unveiling a bunch of rocks. I was like, "Uh, maybe fix that?" And you won't believe it – even with the front desk craziness, the tall dude rocked at helping us out. They cleaned up, and magically, my kid went from accident-prone to a mini ninja without a scratch. Big kudos to him for being our hero and being so nice and helpful and telling everyone to look at their kids because parents seemed unaware of the dangers and all and the staff really seemed chill and relaxed – we're pumped to swing by again!”

“It's a great place to find a class, workshop, or exhibition that share the narratives of so many Latino@s in LA. They provide community space and offer free or low-cost programs for LA residents to share and preserve our roots through arte and stories. This has also been the home of LatinaFest for 6 years and is a blast to attend in the right weather. The parking is a bummer but if you can find all-day parking there is so much to enjoy and discover. It's in the heart of LA across from Placita Olvera, near Chinatown, near Grand Station, and even close to Los Feliz Flea at Vintageland.”
“This cultural center has been around for as long as I can remember! I've participated in a good amount of TECCO-hosted programs and it's always nice to come and spend some time here. Parking is never a problem here - there are plenty of spaces and the parking lot is free. There are restrooms (and lots of them). And the amenities have generally been well kept across the years I've been here. I've submitted college applications for universities in Taiwan here. I've also come here for multiple music performances, attended leadership conferences, joined TAP or TJCC hosted events here, and much more. You can also renew your Taiwan passport here - they're really helpful and can also answer any questions via phone call (but they might speak limited English).”
“This is a great local ballroom studio for people wanting to learn all types of ballroom dance. The dance floor is huge with plenty of room for multiple lessons going on at the same time. There are some afternoons or evenings that have social dance hour, so you might want to find out when those events are... whether you want to attend at those times, or you want to avoid scheduling a lesson during those times, Lol.Many years ago we had a bad experience when out of the blue, the management decided they did not want children dancers in the studio. My son was training in ballroom in preparation for a competition. His partner was actually the professional ballroom teacher's daughter. But we were forced to go to another studio to dance. Needless to say, that was not a good experience. However, I understand that management has changed, and now, under the direction Brenda, it has a much friendlier atmosphere and routinely there will be young students training there as well. Definitely this is a training ground for a future professional competitors, as well as a great place if you want to be motivated or inspired by seeing what others can do, as well as take their group lessons.”
“It was my first time working with this venue. Honestly, I don’t really have any problems with them. Javier allowed me to decorate a day before obviously for an extra cost He was very easy to work with. One of the things that I love about this venue is the fact that his staff are very welcoming and accommodating to each table. It almost feels like you have your own private server. They were on top of the service. The food was really good and tasty. Overall highly recommend this Banquet hall. I worked in Los Angeles and everybody has good service. Also, a big shout out to the DJ Jaime Quintanilla! He really did pay attention when we said we want it to sound like a nightclub and how we like House music and he Went out of his way to keep the party going. Most banquet hall packages include mediocre DJs but this one was amazing! I was truly very happy with the service! Here are some pictures of our custom Couture decoration. “I attended a wedding and reception here. The patio area where the ceremony took place was quaint and beautiful! Although it was a hot sunny day, there were several shaded areas. The reception was inside in the banquet room, which was beautifully furnished with lounge chairs, couches, mirrored walls and long finished wood tables and chairs.”

“Winter Camp was such an amazing experience for my boy. It was his first time attending Oodles and he felt comfortable and welcomed since day one. He truly enjoyed it. “Seventh Place is such an amazing venue. We just had our wedding there and it was one of the easiest parts of our planning. I fell in love with the place immediately after attending one of the open houses. The venue met all our needs and allowed us to bring our own ideas and desired vendors. Multiple guests said they felt like they were in a movie on our wedding day. The employees that we interacted/worked with were so great and the owners are so kind. If we did our wedding again, I would choose Seventh Place again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our day unforgettable!!”
