I've been to this place 3 times! I took my car a few times to get fix for two accidents and they took care of me. Patty, she runs the place, is friendly and doesn't beat around the bush. She is honest and will let you know what you need. They have Great service, great with communication and good results. The guys that work their did a good job with fixing and painting my car. I recommend them 100%.

Here's to a long overdue review but well deserving! Early February, I got into an accident on the 91fwy and it was honestly the worst day of my life! Long story short- a huge commercial truck had merged into my lane and pushed my car to the far right. Thankfully I was okay, and the car damages were not deemed as severe to the point that my car was totaled. Behind the driver's side, the left back wheel rim had been chewed off, the tire had flattened, and the paint was scratched pretty bad. It was quite the traumatizing experience for me and I had no clue how to process what happened that day while driving to work! My dad referred me to this body shop in Pico Rivera and once I was able to get AAA to tow my car, I called J I body shop and spoke with a woman named Patty. I explained to her my situation and made sure she had expected me on the way since the shop was closing within the next hour. It was approximately a 35 minute drive from my location and I was happy to hear that they would wait for me! Upon arrival, Patty was very patient, understanding, and pleasant; she assured me that my vehicle would be taken care of and J I body shop would communicate with the insurance claims to work out any financial issues. I was very happy with my experience here because the service was exceptional. I appreciated that Patty made sure that I was updated via text/phone call throughout the next few weeks that my car had been in the shop. She was very honest and kind enough to explain the process and made sure that my car was repaired in a timely manner. I had expressed my concerns and she made sure that all my questions were answered. Thankfully, I was able to utilize a car rental via Enterprise/ insurance to commute to work and my car was returned in great condition. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs body work/repair after an accident!

I had inner fender damage on my truck. I ordered the part from dealership and the shop was able to remove and replace in time promised. Great team and service at J I auto Body . Will be back soon for more work. Thanks j. I . Auto Body

many years ago, when they were in el monte-i had a lot of front end damage on my 89 grand am-guy in front of me SLAMMED on his brakes and no way could i stop-i'm retired on s.s. and so i'm not RICH-patty in the office is 'so nice'....they fixed it and made the front look new for 850.00-going to take my 97 miata (my last car) in as soon as i can save enough to 'try' to make it look new again-i believe they're good & honest which is hard to find in the day and age.

i KNOW i gave this place a review-years ago-i realized recently they'd moved-maybe that has something to do with it? anyway-i had an 89 grand am-front end damage that i had to pay for even though the guy in front of me SLAMMED on his brakes and there was no way i could stop in time-they made the front end look NEW for 850.00-still A LOT for someone retired and living on s.s. but NOT a lot for 'really good' body and paint repair-i'm planning on taking my 'last' car, a 97 miata there as soon as i can afford to get it 'looking new' again
