Wine was ok. Staff was ok. Maybe other vintages or varietals would have been better.

Our favorite winery experience in the Anderson Valley - they combine great wine with a laid back, rustic (probably not the right word - I'm thinking back to how Napa in the 90s, maybe it's "less amusement park" like)... one the best Pinots we had on the trip. Manager is extremely witty / funny and a character. Glad he recommended we take our wine and walk around the vineyard. Was beautiful.

Lula Cellars is a quaint vineyard located at the “deep end” of Anderson Valley. They produce mainly Pinot Noirs and, during our visit, offered an estate Gewurtzraminer which was more on the dry side. It was nice. The tastings are $10 and the pours are generous. Shout out to Anastasia for being hospitable. Definitely worth considering when visiting the valley.

Such a fun winery to visit in Philo! You would not think Lula hosts a great tasting by the looks of it, but I was proven wrong. First and foremost, the staff are some of the best I've encountered, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. While this may not be a "high end" tasting room, do not count out the wines as I was quite happy with every single one of them! Now it was a bit warmer when I visited, so I cannot comment on how the winter side of it is, but during the warmer months, it's such a beautiful spot to hang out and let time fly by. We did not even realize that we had been there for two hours as we were chatting it up with some locals and enjoying the beautiful views. Wine wise, not hard to guess what will be served as they fall in line with the local growing varietals, but I thoroughly enjoyed most if not all of their Pinot Noirs! When it comes to price wise, you cannot beat it if you are coming from Napa and or Sonoma County as it is much more affordable! Highly recommend tossing Lula Cellars on the list if you plan on visiting anytime soon.

This is an awesome wine tasting experience. Dan, the punctually pudgy salesman, provided a fun and informative tasting. His meal pairings sound incredible and ask about walking to the top of the winery for a beautiful view of the neighboring vineyards. They had the best Rose of Pinot Noir of the day and we finished the Bruntly with a great pizza that night!

We stopped by Lula Cellars on our way back from the coast. Since we had a long trip back home, we decided to pick one winery in Anderson Valley and purchase a couple of bottles without tasting. Lula Cellars couldn't have been more accommodating and helped us with our selection (2021 Gewürztraminer and their 2019 Peterson Vineyard Pinot Noir). So far we've had the Pinot, which is excellent, and we look forward to drinking the Gewürztraminer.
