Amazing shop, great wealth of knowledge and products. The shooting range is a perfect place to get sighted in and get some tips from the pros on how to improve.
Hans proved prophetic, my 12 year old son outgrew the PSE jr and inherited my MXR (which is an amazing bow for the price) and I ended up with a Phase 4 which is smoother on the draw but a lot heavier.

The best resource for archery in the area. Great line up of products at competitive prices. These folks love what they do, are super knowledgeable and ethical. Give them your criteria and you will walk out with the best fit. He restrung a 45 year old hand me down magnesium bow a few years ago. This summer he set up my sons PSE bow that I bought at a sporting goods store, no questions asked. In hindsight never buy a bow from a place that knows little about them (compound bows are pretty technical to set up for a beginner). Decided to upgrade my old bow, my criteria was just target shooting, maybe hunt local game later, on a budget. I’d read stuff on the internet and went in looking for a specific make and model. Hans straight sells the make but that model was junky and did not carry it for that reason. He recommended the Mission MXR by Matthews. I trusted his recommendation and walked out with it fully set up (which is a process). At home, I started researching my new bow and learned it was hands down the best price/value bow on the market. Hans did not try to steer me into super expensive bows instead he guided me within my budget to a mid level priced bow that performs at a super high end. Hans is a real straight shooter.

Simply the very best people and shop you'll work with. Incredible real world expertise and knowledge combined with the best customer service I've ever had. I have closer pro shops, but i drive 2 hours from home to go to this shop and never regret it. I'll be a customer for life. 10 out of 10

Hans was a pleasure to buy my first bow from. He was patient with showing me all the options and answering all my questions. I went with a Mathews Lift 33 and very happy with my purchase. He helped me dial it in and gave me some great pointers. This the go to locally owned small business . I'll definitely be back for some lessons and parts . Not a single person that works here that's not simply amazing. As a new archer I had a lot of questions and they spent every second of time you spend in there helping you out with anything you need and anything that may help you understand the sport better. I didn't ask for 90% of everything I learned in there because I didn't have the questions in mind, yet these guys explained things so well to me and I never felt rushed to leave or to buy something that I didn't need. I have to drive over an hour to get here, but I'll be glad to make the drive any time I need their help. I wanted arrows that cost $35 more than what the owner told me I should get instead. I never felt like he was trying to make more money out of me than what he thought I may need.With all that said, they have a great selection of products that range in price. Another thing is that they don't mark up their prices like other shops I've been to. Honest, good people that have my business. Thanks for making my two visits such a pleasant experience.

I can just say that I will certainly be ordering from here again. I live In Western Maryland and just ordered something from Lancaster archery (which keep in mind is 2 hours away from me) at the same time as I took a shot in the dark on ordering some Vanes from West coast archery. No only did my package make it to me before Lancaster archery’s ( who are supposed to have unmatched shipping) my receipt came with a hand written thank you below my order info, and as simple as it maybe seems they also sent a sticker that will be proudly stuck to my archery bench. All for one simple pack of Vanes. You have won more business from me in the future. Thank you!
