“Rosewoods Events was everything we could have hoped for and more on our wedding day! The venue is truly breathtaking, with stunning rose gardens and beautiful willow trees that created the most romantic atmosphere. One of the highlights of our day was being able to take sunset pictures on the ridge--those photos are something we'll cherish forever. Ann, the owner, made sure every detail was perfect, from the moment we arrived to the very end. We got ready on-site in the elegant bridal suite, while the groomsmen enjoyed their own spacious quarters--complete with cornhole and ping pong, a unique feature most venues don't offer. One of the most memorable moments was when Ann greeted us with our first drink as a married couple after we walked back down the aisle--such a thoughtful touch that made us feel so special. The entire experience was flawless, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting to celebrate our love. If you're looking for a venue that offers breathtaking scenery, elegance, and exceptional care, Rosewoods Events is it. We can't recommend it highly enough!”

“Had an incredible 2 nights stay at the beautiful cottage with my partner. We arrived late at night and Jessica gave us very precise instructions and made sure the light was on for us to find our way. The cottage is beautiful and quaint- we loved the hardwood floors and the bathtub! The space had lots of light and felt homey and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept like babies. The gardens were a really lovely sight to wake up to the next morning. We wandered around the grounds and found 3 very eager and friendly goats, lots of chickens, beautiful rose gardens and overall such an idyllic environment. I'd imagine this would be a perfect place for a wedding or special event and hope we'll have an occasion to do so in the future here. Thanks again for the beautiful experience. Highly recommend this for a weekend getaway, wedding, or anniversary!”

“We had a GREAT experience at PWC, where we held our wedding reception in May. It's such a beautiful space, the only decorating I had to think about was table centerpieces and flowers. We had plenty of room for seated dinner and dancing for 65 guests and definitely could have fit more if we wanted to. Communication with staff was great and the location is perfect for out of town guests staying in/near downtown Petaluma. Sound system worked well for our playlist and the kitchen amenities were really handy.”

“Such an amazing venue! We put on a Halloween costume dance party to help raise funds for a local organization and everyone raved about Flying Cloud. The venue is perfectly Petaluma. It's a horse ranch on a hillside with a beautiful view of area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the start to finish of our event. They even let us use some of their Halloween decorations. We will definitely be reaching out to host more events here in the future.”

“The second my husband and I pulled in I knew OVE was our venue. I was raised in Sonoma County, and I was so shocked that I never knew about this gem of a place! We have had an insane year so far in terms of weather and right down to the wedding morning, we were worried about rain, but our day was absolutely PERFECT. Everything was so lush and green, the grounds were impeccable, and their staff handled everything they promised and more! The best part for my husband and I is that OVE insists on supporting local vendors. All that we cared about was that our wedding felt like us and that our guests truly got a taste of Sonoma County, and OVE delivered just that. From the willows at the pond, the Victorian house cocktail hour and the dreamiest barn... every single moment was absolute perfection. Additionally, the OVE team works so regularly with our caterers and wedding coordinator that they were a completely well-oiled machine. There were minimal questions, decisions or concerns for my husband and I, as they all had a game plan from the second we decided on our vendors! They made everything SO EASY. In the last 40 minutes of our wedding, our coordinator let me know it had finally started to rain, and we both laughed knowing how lucky we were the weather held out all day... but even better than that, when we went to board shuttles at the end of the night, the OVE staff was waiting with umbrellas to escort our guests. The level of service they offer is insane! I admit, booking OVE is not inexpensive but with that said, for everything they deliver to make your day perfect, they are worth every penny and then some! As I bask in the glow of our fairytale of a day, knowing how hard their staff works and how much pride they take in their property, I would have gladly paid double.”

“Awesome ? 9 hole gem tucked away in the hills of Southern Petaluma. If you're fortunate enough to play a round or 2 here, consider yourself lucky as it's a private club not open to the public. It's very hilly and challenging. The par 5's are monsters, and the greens are sometimes hidden, angled, and crowned, so approaches and putting are very difficult. All in all, it is a very challenging course with killer views. This place will humble you if you're not used to lots of hills and angles. It will make you a better ?️‍♂️ and challenge your game!”

“The Sonoma-Marin Fair is a lot smaller than the Alameda County Fair and Marin Fair, but it's got a fantastic vibe. There's not as much to do, but the food is excellent (with local shops!), there's a lot of animals to interact with (including a petting zoo!), and rides are free - what more could you want?”

“Wowow! What an amazing place to visit during the fun harvest season. Pronzini Pumpkin Patch was full of pumpkins, art sculptures, photo ops, snacks, and family activities too! Every single staff member we interacted with was super nice and friendly. If you are just there for pumpkins they don't charge you an entry fee, but if you're there for the kid/activity area the tickets are decently priced. We walked around for a bit and picked out some pretty cool pumpkins. We even stopped to get a churro at the food stand. It was a bit over priced for the size but we were just happy to be there. Definitely recommend this place for all family types! What's not to love?”

“Everything was nice enough, but was shocked by the price, probably the most expensive Sheraton I’ve ever stayed at (and I’ll put out for context, I’ve spent >350 lifetime nights at various Marriott properties for work& vacation). Not bad, just not worth $400 /night

Walkability: Not walkable, surrounded by highway

Food & drinks: Restaurant open for dinner. Shop with some snacks, coffee, and wine that is intermittently staffed (but has more extensive wine selection than most!)”
