We had to make the most difficult decision of putting our dog down after unsuccessfully being able to re-home him or find a shelter or rescue to take him to. We weren’t wanting to get rid of him but due to moving and not being able to find a place that wasn’t breed restricted we had no other options and since he had a bite history no one was willing to work with him. We were able to get a same day appointment that I called and all of the staff were very understanding and sympathetic to my situation. They allowed me as much time as I needed to say my goodbyes and the procedure was very quick and painless for him and it wasn’t overly expensive. We will miss our boy so much??????

Never take your pet here. They can’t handle a house cat. They handled our house cat without care and it bite them. The cat is a house cat that has never left our home other than in a crate to this vet. After that they called animal control and had the cat put on quarantine. What kind of vet does that? Go somewhere else. Oh yeah the bill was $1400 and they didn’t even treat the cat.

They're so caring and thorough. Hopefully you'll never need an emergency vet, but if you do, this is THE place to go.

I've had to come here several times for my aging pets, and they were always compassionate, helpful and kind. I'm so grateful there is an emergency vet in the area now.

They did a great job initially getting our puppy worked up and evaluated. After they diagnosed him however the vet did not return our calls and now they refuse to continue filling the antibiotic which they said they would fill for a year. When I was upset, I never received an apology or anything; the staff became very rude and felt I was wrong.
I get more from my primary care doctor when I pay a twenty dollar copay then I got from paying 8K for our dog's work up. Would never go here again.

I had to put my 15 year old cat down today. Everyone who works here is compassionate and kind. The doctor working today was incredibly articulate and knowledgeable about the situation my little clyde was in. They all really care about providing the best care for you and your animal.

I went to TruVet twice one was for my dog’s eye infection and the last time was for my dog’s emergency illness and unfortunately we had to put him to sleep. TruVet had provided realistic medical advices to help me to go through this painful process, they respected our privacy as well so we had enough time to say goodbye to our 14.5 years old boy. They also gave him two comfy blankets so he could lay down felt comfortable. They made sure the euthanasia process was smooth and the vet explained every step of it. I also went through cremation process with them, I called around their price was reasonable.

Just had a fantastic experience here with our pup Boo Girl. We suspected she had a foxtail in her which has happened before. They were able to take her in at 8pm on a Sunday. We are very grateful that they attempted and were successful at removing the foxtail WITHOUT sedating her. Like all dogs, our girl reads people and was more than happy to independently go with the vet and tech to her exam room! She is a very happy girl after the removal!

TruVet is awesome! The staff is kind, patient, and very helpful. I've taken my dog there for emergency, and we now see Dr Freya Kruger for my special needs dog. I highly recommend them.

My experience with this practice has been horrific and unconscionable. I brought my dog in for a seizure. She was able to walk, run, function as a normal dog, and after receiving an anticonvulsant medication prescribed by Dr Saksen, she is no longer walking. During our appointment, Dr Saksen seemed disinterested and apathetic. She also sent at least 4 people into the room while I was waiting for my girl to be evaluated, to make sure I would be able to pay the bill. Wow! Profiling much?? Dr Saksen, explained that there would be side effects from the medication: an increase in thirst, hunger, and lethargy or grogginess, but not loss of limb function. When I phoned the practice to speak to a vet about the side effects I was experiencing, and my concern, I was never able to speak to one. They gave me no answers, did not express any empathy, and just said to go to my primary vet. They took no accountability and showed no professionalism or concern, and a vet NEVER called to follow up and ask how my girl was doing. I have never received this type of treatment from any other practice, and my experience with vets goes back 30+ years. They are unprofessional and incompetent.

Wonderful caring and compassionate
We had to take our Gracie twice and both the doctors and staff were kind and patient with us and our girl. A special thanks to Evvy.
