Ordered calamari, fries, della basket, fried oysters, fish taco, cauliflower wings, and aperol spritz which all were delicious. Servers were all nice.

The food here is excellent and worth going for. We had the scallop appetizer, which was quite pricey, but heavenly, and the raw oysters recommended by our server, also heavenly. We also chose a delicious greens salad, and for our entrees we had the clams and mussels which were fresh and delicious, the cioppino, and the fettucine with clams. For dessert, we had one of the best creme brulees we have ever had. So the food was excellent and worth the price. It took us a while to get our drinks, although we arrived at the end of Happy Hour and that could be why. The oysters were served before the drinks. That shouldn't happen. The atmosphere was okay - very loud, so that we could barely hear one another, and we sat on the Kentucky Street side and cars were pulling into parking spots next to the restaurant and shining into our eyes. You'd think they could put something in the windows to handle that. As for the service, it was not great for a pricey restaurant. Our server warmed up to us over time, but the other person who was circulating (maybe one of the owners?) was not friendly at all. Not what you'd expect. Also, a $25 deposit to make a reservation? Really? Overall, we enjoyed our food but will probably not go back. Too loud, and just not worth the hassle.

Ashley is a spectacular manager! Impeccable service, dinstinguished wine list (try the Raft Pinot Noir), delicious food, vibrant atmosphere. Don't miss grabbing a drink in the attached hotel bar before hand.

Whether raw or baked, the oysters are some of the best we've tasted, I highly recommend! A short ribs melt in your mouth and perfectly accompanied by polenta and expertly cooked vegetables! Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Stars to the chef and the cooks that turned out one fantastic plate after another! The wait staff was OK, friendly, but nothing to write home about. I'd lose the mask wearing policy, as it makes no sense, when the people who are cooking the food and breathing all over the food are not wearing masks, but the people delivering the food are. The virus is much too small to be blocked by a silly mask. It seems more personable and reality-based to have everyone unmasked, not just a few. Thank you for a fabulous time on valentines!!

Fantastic restaurant. Service was what I expect but rarely find at other restaurants these days. Server was attentive, but not overbearing, just right. The food was expertly prepared with sublime FLAVOR! The portions are generous and I ate every bite, then licked the pattern off the plate. We started out with some oysters on the half shell, “Seasonal Salad”, and their bread. Don't miss the bread as it's sooo good and comes in handy because you'll want to sop up every last drop of the sauce or gravy from your dish. My main entree was “Clam Linguini” and my wife had “Braised Short Ribs”. We shared. Very generous helping of clams with the linguini, and the sauce was very tasty. The short ribs were juicy and tender served over a bed of polenta with a large helping of broccolini, and crazy good gravy. Goat cheesecake and Crème broulette for dessert. In summary: great food, generous portions, A1 service, nice unpretentious ambience.

The food was lovely, service was solid, and it was an overall positive experience. They offer daily happy hour from 3-6, I went for that and would again. It's a bit pricey, but the food quality is a fair match to the price.

This splendid seafood emporium exudes a joyful celebration of local catches and those from afar. Excellent scallops to oysters. Good Martini and alluring wine list. Get the creme brulee. Service shines with knowledge and exuberance.

I have worked with Aluxa and the Oyster Girls on a couple of significant outdoor events at my winery and loved working with them. Finally, we got to go over the hill to Petaluma and visit the Shuckery. Fantastic! The oysters were delightful, and the other dishes were imaginative and delicious. The Cauliflower Wings were unique and spicy, the Anchovie Conserva was a new experience, and the Mussels and Clams were divine. We all ordered a lot of extra bread because there was no way we would waste it. Bravo, Jazmine and crew, for a home run! Next stop: Luma.

Always a treat. Friends were visiting and dinner at The Shuckery was a must. It's the tasty crown jewel (a pearl?) of downtown Petaluma. Always order the Plateau to get a school of fish, oysters, ceviche, trout, etc. best way to share all the good things that come out of the kitchen. And bonus: the staff is attentive and friendly, and the bar is phenomenal. A thousand stars.

A good piece of fish (rock cod) but underwhelming preparation. Not tasty - no pizazz if you will. Even butter or ginger soy marinade would have been great. (Maybe because it was a boring Tuesday night) Dungeoness crab was tasty - prepared well. Service was exemplary. Pricey and a “happening” restaurant- but not a romantic or quiet ambience for lovers, older people or zen masters.

Fish tacos are always my 'must' when I visit. Always consistent in flavor, temperature and speed in preparing.
