The farm is down a road with no or little cell reception and when we drove up the sign had “open daily” crossed out. We parked and the place was deserted with many signs. We rang the bell as instructed and after awhile a small dog barked and greeted us. A boy came out a bit after for the dog, but didn’t say anything to us. It felt like we were intruding on private property despite signage, and left.Based on other reviews it seems like others have had a different experience, so make sure you call to make sure it’s open. Online times and dates are not accurate.

I don't get it. My husband and I went there on Tuesday. The "store" was deserted and looked like it hadn't been cleaned or used in years. There was really nothing to purchase. Dust and cobwebs were everywhere and it appeared vacated. We rang the bell and nobody showed up. I should have taken photos but I was a bit creeped out. We saw a beautiful but poorly cared for, matted, grayish colored cat that walked in after us but that was it. We left.

I'm making it my goal to try out/visit all the regenerative farms in CA. Tara Firma was on the list. We were coming from out of town so the month prior I tried contacting them for more info about tour/farm store via phone, email, and social media. No response at all from any of my ten inquiries total. The other day we visited the farm store during open hours and no one answered. We waited about 20 mins and gave the ring camera numerous calls along with phoning them. There was a catering event going on that day and one of the guys working there said he had no idea where they were either. A little disappointed in how unresponsive they are which isn't giving people who are heavily invested In regenerative farms a good look. Bummed I couldn't try their stuff as a result as I was planning on buying some items to stock up on and as gifts. On to the next one!

Very uptight place not very friendly I was excited to go because In there website it said fresh eggs and chickens and different animal cuts but no they just wanted you to be a member so you can have things delivered although the drive to the farm was not so easy. We asked if we could go see any animals and immediately got told no we asked if they had lamb and no just an overall very underwhelming experience.

Most underwhelming farm experience I had in Sonoma. If you dont get here for their offered tour theres pretty much nothing. I felt bad and ordered cheese (from the small amount of stuff offered) and other farms offer cheese made there for like 8 dollars/13 dollars a pound. I got cheese they dont make there and it cost 13 dollars for 4 ounces. Really a rip olff and I should have just walked away

What a lovely day! Amazing for animal lovers, with very informative farm tour available FREE on Saturdays and Sundays at 11am. Our 1 year old loved it and we were really impressed with the quality of life the animals have. We we definitely be signing up for the kids camps and the meat box!

We strolled up to the pond from which you can pretty much see the whole farm. Nice place and, of course the meats are always delicious.
