It was 10 minutes before closing, and the owner turned me and my family away at the front door. That’s cool, there are plenty of other antique stores in the area. We definitely won’t be back.

Was exploring the store and enjoying some antiques on a date even interested in some but was not dressed too fancy having a casual day wearing a hoodie and sweatpants when an employee came and closed off the upstairs section of the store right in front of me and my girl because we did not look wealthy enough. We were disappointed because there was a statue of a dog just like our own that we were interested in spending a couple hundred dollars on but we felt the staff were rude and judgemental and we didn’t want to support this business. Just found the same piece in better condition online for a third of the price.

This was the 2nd antique store I shopped at one Friday in June, and it was a world of difference. I was greeted warmly and began my very long meandering through all the floors and rooms. It just goes on and on. Really saw some lovely items...and then spied exactly what would solve my need for a recently remodeled bathroom. I went to the cash register area and spoke with the woman about whether the owner of the item (there are several consignors in the shop) would negotiate the price. As luck would have it, the owner/consignor, in from out of town, was just walking in through the front door. We had a lovely conversation, she was totally amenable, and I got my chippy little piece of bathroom furniture. Couldn't have been easier or more pleasant. I'll definitely be back!

CW: Racist Imagery/SymbolismI know there are debates within the antique world regarding collectible items characterizing Black Americans in demeaning/demoralizing ways (of which I don't agree with selling), what historians refer to as "Negrobilia/Black Americana," but TO CALL IT "CHARMING" in the item description is so wrong.

Thank you Dennis for the advice on which floors and areas to start. Amazing selection of early and mid 20th century crystal and furniture. Lovely wine tracks racks, pastry crystal, decanters and trunks. Stop by after lunch and get lost for an hour. Lovely vintage items for a home bar as well. Reasonably priced for the age and condition.

Wow! They had some things I loved in there. It was displayed so well, as if the person was an interior decorator! The problem was everything was on the extreme end of the price scale. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but hundreds of dollars more than I would have expected. I guess Petaluma is an expensive area now?? But, I always go to this store because it has quality and never any junk. Beautifully laid out store.

Worst customer service ever. Was in the store this past Saturday and was met with very minimal respect by a male staff person. He was rude and condescending. He obviously needs training in personal Relations and customer service. We live out-of-town, but frequently travel to Petaluma. We certainly won't be back to this store and have advised our family that lives in the area to avoid this store. I suggest you train your staff to greet the public with some courtesy, but, more importantly, with respect.

The owner, a woman, refuses to wear a mask. Get very, very nasty when one asks her to don one. Never going in there again.

Would rate higher but during this public health crisis, I would recommend not going at all. The staff can't seem to be bothered to wear a mask despite their own signage. I've been looking at a piece and been in 3 times over this week and never seen them with masks on. In the past, a most go when shopping for almost antiques. So very new pieces but mostly beautifully cared for aged pieces. Been going here since a kid for 30 yrs now.

Terrible people running this place. The woman who I believe owns this place has a car with political stickers for a certain orange cartoon that serves as president. And she's not afraid to let you know that if you dare enter with gear in favor of another candidate. Yuck!
