Do you have a shy, older cat that needs special, gentle care & attention? This is the service for you. I lucked out with Karen A. being assigned to my 9 day service need. I expected my Maya to spend the visits under the bed or in the closet. In just 3 visits, she was welcoming Karen and her petting. Loved the daily updates, photos and video I was able to share with my 99-year old Mom I was visiting. (She used to be my Mom's cat). There pricing is right-on. I am glad I found this service as I am new to Sonoma.

We have been using Pet Indulgence for many years and are always very happy for the caring service they provide; they have taken care of our senior dogs in the past and now our younger dogs and horses. It is such a relief to go away knowing that our pets and our house are in good hands. We particularly appreciate the pet sitters' attention to the routine of the individual animals and the fact that they do a lot more than just walk them.

We were in Napa for our son's wedding and needed someone to stay with our 5 dogs in our motel room during the rehearsal dinner and wedding.. Pet indulgence was very accommodating and understanding when we had to change our times as well as add an extra dog at the last minute. The sitters were punctual and great with the dogs. We would use them again for sure.

I can't recommend Pet Indulgence enough! We have two small, defensive, fearful, barky dogs (our own fault, didn't socialize them enough when they were puppies) who are extremely territorial. A rat terrier and a chihuahua. They won't let anyone visit us without turning it into a traumatic experience for everyone - not fun! It takes them 5-10 visits by close friends and family before they aren't "guarding," barking, and nipping at ankles. We used to try to take them with us on an annual family trip to the Eel River, at a resort where 'friendly' dogs are welcome and typically roam free. Recipe for disaster for our little monsters. My husband told me he didn't want to go on the trip anymore because it was stressful and not fun for anyone. So we looked for a pet-sitting agency, and Pet Indulgence came highly recommended. I talked with Pete, the owner, and explained how I thought it'd be difficult for a stranger to come into our home while we were gone because our dogs are so territorial, it could be stressful (and even dangerous) for the sitter. So I asked if there were any sitters we could take our dogs to, who maybe didn't have any dogs of their own. Ha ha, good luck, right? Well there was one woman, Sue, who happened to not have any dogs currently, who said she could accommodate our high-maintenance dogs. We brought them to her house to meet her a few days before our trip, and they checked out the back yard while we chatted. It seemed like a safe place, with a high fence, and Sue said she'd keep a close eye on them. We brought them to her house the day of our trip, said goodbye, and crossed our fingers! The cabin resort where we stay has no cell reception so we didn't know how it was going. But on our return home two days later, once reception was restored, we receive multiple texts and photos of our dogs at Sue's house, doing well and even relaxing a little!! We went to pick them up and they were fine, she said they did well, and they were obviously well taken care of. Couldn't believe it! Love Sue so much, love Pet Indulgence! We're about to take the same trip again this year and booked our time with Sue and Pet Indulgence, and it's already less stressful knowing our little ankle-biters will be in wonderful hands again! Can't thank them enough!

Great company with great employees! I found them on Yelp, and the past reviews proved to be true. We are very happy with their services of taking care of our cats and dogs when we're away on trips and even when it's just day drop-ins if we have long hours away from home. We always come back to a happy household after getting status updates from the sitter while we're gone. Trust them fully, and couldn't ask for more.

I am immensely reluctant to leave my dog with anybody. Lisa is actually the ONLY PERSON I trust to dog-sit. She absolutely understands dogs and is one of the most caring and compassionate pet sitters you could find. She is an animal lover and nurtures several of her own critters. While I am not a naturally neurotic person I can absolutely become this way about my dog. Lisa gets this and always does right by him. I appreciate her level-headedness and patience immensely!

There is no part of me that wants to negatively review a company who we've entrusted to watch over our home and family for the last few years. But our last experience with Pet Indulgence, and specifically Lisa S., is forcing me to warn other pet lovers that this is at best, an unreliable company, and at its worst, a company whose employees are cruel to animals. We have a laundry list of infractions we brought to the owner about our last experience with Lisa, which includes, but is not limited to: letting our animals' water bottles/dishes go dry, cutting their food intake in half (even after we told Lisa, we were limiting their food, she made the decision, which should solely be ours and our vet's to feed them HALF of what we instructed her to), not walking our dogs at their routine time (or distance - she would only ever take them to the end of our driveway) which resulted in several in-house accidents, allowing our house bunnies' litter boxes to get so full and dirty that they were peeing over the back of them and damaging our floors, taking one of our bunnies to the vet and then refusing to pick him back up and bring him home (even though he was cleared to go home by the vet and I repeatedly told her being at home would be best for his health - this also resulted in a very large vet bill), used a broom handle to push our elder bunny out of his tunnel rather than taking the humane and simple steps to get him into his carrier without harming or stressing him, leaving our house a complete mess, not interacting with any of our animals in a caring or playful way - she treated them like a chore or task . . . Pet Indulgence promises updates on your home and animals while you're away and when we didn't get any from Lisa, we would have to press her while we were on vacation and she would respond sounding annoyed, complaining about our dogs' behavior. We NEVER once received a message from her that was re-assuring or that put us at ease while we were in another country, on our first vacation in 10 years. We have two NEST cams set up in ways that allow us to monitor our bunnies in their room, as well as our two elder pugs. Lisa knew about these cameras and expressed no concern. Several times, she covered up the camera with a towel or turned them around. As you can imagine, this caused severe panic when we weren't hearing from her and we weren't allowed to check in on our two dogs. Eventually, we had to fire her and have our friend's step in to take over the job of keeping our home and family safe. Thank goodness they were available to do so. When we got home, our dogs' ribs were showing and they looked so thin, it actually made us cry. When we finally were able to talk to the owner about our horrid experience, where our vacation was ruined 4 days in, he refunded us part of our fee. He seemed to listen empathetically and asked to give them another chance. We had a another trip scheduled in a few weeks and had booked another pet sitter, Christine P. several months in advance. Even though our trust was severely violated, and it would be difficult to entrust our family and home to someone we had trusted prior, this was a work trip coming up and an opportunity to visit ailing family . . . It was very important that we go. Christine had pet sit for us before without issue, so that was the only thing reassuring us about our upcoming trip. Less than 3 weeks before our scheduled trip, we were told that Christine changed her plans and wouldn't be available. They were scrambling to find some people with rabbit experience and would get back to us. That was our main requirement, that someone had experience with 4 out of 6 of the animals in our home. When the owner brought us 2 people to meet, one had NO experience with rabbits and seemed to be brand new at the company and the other had limited experience with bunnies and admitted during her interview that she was lazy, wouldn't hear us if we called and she was asleep, and couldn't re

We feel so grateful to have discovered this pet service! We are just returning from 4 nights away to our dog, who was in the best hands! Ann and Josie kept us consistently up to date with when our dog had eaten, walked, and taken his medication. They were professional, friendly, and dependable! Highly recommend their services!

So happy with this company! They were able to set us up last minute with someone to check in on our cat and dog while we were out of town for a few days (48 hours notice). Adam was so great, super thorough during the first meet, sent us updates every day, and was very patient and understanding when he couldn't get into our house because I hadn't given him the right key! Our animals connected with him immediately and they were very relaxed when we got home. We're definitely going to use their services again.

Excellent experience with Pet Indulgence, beginning with a visit from Pete & Lisa before our trip. These folks are caring, responsible cat whisperers. We came home to a pet un-freaked-out by our absence, and the house had been well cared for. So happy to have them as a resource. Extra bonus: Lisa sent daily updates, including a video of the cat conversing with her.

We've used Pet Indulgence in the past and always with great results. On New Years Day at 10 am we received a last minute invitation to an all day party and I called Christine to see if someone was available for a drop in around 4 PM for our dog Shane. She got back to me within minutes and said Jocelyn was available to come out in the afternoon for a drop in. You just can't beat this kind of service!! We will continue to use Pet Indulgence for all of our pet sitting needs.

We had a very good experience with Ann and Lisa, our sitter for several nights. Needed to have Tilly cared for while we were staying in SF for heart surgery. During our initial visit we felt an immediate connection to both Ann and Lisa. They listened carefully to our needs. So we never worried for one minute about our kitty or our home while we were away. I will certainly call again if we go away. It is comforting to know Pet Indulgence and their excellent staff is there in case we need them again. Hopefully, next time it will be for an actual fun vacation.

I was a bit worried about finding a solid pet sitter for my cat after moving to Petaluma, but I should not have been worried, because there's Pet Indulgence! I was impressed by their thorough conversation with me about my cat's needs, and the home visit was great. Christine was our sitter and was absolutely wonderful - sending pictures and texts each visit to let me know everything was fine. She took out the trash on her last visit and followed all my instructions exactly. I was able to relax and take my vacation worry-free, which is a great feeling! Can't recommend these guys enough.

We are extremely particular pet parents and we highly recommend Pet Indulgence! Pete and Christine came over for the initial meet and greet, and our two dogs liked them immediately. One of our dogs is 13 and has special needs, and the other is a bouncy three-year-old. Christine sent texts and pics during her visits, which set our minds at ease while we were on our trip. After we returned home, Christine came over to drop off the key, and our girls were super excited to see her, which speaks volumes. If you want total peace of mind and qualified caregivers who truly love pets, go with Pet Indulgence!
