Pet Food Express
383 S McDowell Blvd, PetalumaBe been coming here on and off for a couple years. They helped me so much back when I had an animal that was super sensitive to foods. They were so patient with me and every person was awesome. I bought treats, food, beds and travel carriers here and everyone had good advice for me. Fast forward 2 years and I needed help with grooming supplies for a dog with sensitive skin and sensitive owners (my nose). Jorge spent extra time helping me and sharing his personal experience with his own dog of the same breed. I come all the way down 3 towns away for this place because they are worth it. I don't need it person but they have a dog washing station here.

Brandner Veterinary Hospital
347 Lakeville St, PetalumaI have taken my pets to Dr Pfann since he first started at Bradner, He is the only vet I know that goes above and beyond with a patience like no other human I have ever met. His dogside manner is the most calming endearing thing ever. When I first met him he diagnosed my dogs severe pain response as bladder stones after two other vets diagnosed him with epilepsy. He saved my young babies life. He is also the only vet I know of that can intubate a small bunny if need be and that sold me 100%. This man loves animals of every kind and is a veterinary god send. Bless his soul.

TruVet Specialty and Emergency Hospital
2620 Lakeville Hwy Bldg D, PetalumaWe had to make the most difficult decision of putting our dog down after unsuccessfully being able to re-home him or find a shelter or rescue to take him to. We weren’t wanting to get rid of him but due to moving and not being able to find a place that wasn’t breed restricted we had no other options and since he had a bite history no one was willing to work with him. We were able to get a same day appointment that I called and all of the staff were very understanding and sympathetic to my situation. They allowed me as much time as I needed to say my goodbyes and the procedure was very quick and painless for him and it wasn’t overly expensive. We will miss our boy so much??????

Dairydell's Doggie Dude Ranch
2575 Old Adobe Rd, PetalumaI’ve been taking my English Bulldog to Dairydell for a few years now. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful! My pup comes back after a week or two of boarding clean, healthy, happy, and sleepy. I appreciate how attentive everyone has been with her - they’re well-trained in keeping up with her meds and recently helped me find the best boarding-routine for her after she’s been through two knee surgeries this past year. My vacations are even better knowing that she’s at the best place she could possibly be when I’m out of town.

PET INDULGENCE
538 Almanor St, PetalumaDo you have a shy, older cat that needs special, gentle care & attention? This is the service for you. I lucked out with Karen A. being assigned to my 9 day service need. I expected my Maya to spend the visits under the bed or in the closet. In just 3 visits, she was welcoming Karen and her petting. Loved the daily updates, photos and video I was able to share with my 99-year old Mom I was visiting. (She used to be my Mom's cat). There pricing is right-on. I am glad I found this service as I am new to Sonoma.

2715 Skillman Ln, PetalumaIt’s a dogs life does such a great job with our dog! He has boarded here several times for about a week and also a few long weekends. The staff are always laid back but very knowledgeable and caring - our pup seems to have a great time here! The grooming is also the best that we have found in the Petaluma area. What I also really appreciate is that they don’t nickel and dime you so that your pup can play with other dogs, get fresh air / potty time or if they need to have medication administered. It’s just a great stay for my dog all around and we appreciate the staff for that!

Sonoma Portworks
613 2nd St, PetalumaTried their chardonnay, zinfandel, 2019 petite sirah, cask reserve 11, and maduro reserve.
The profile on the zin is like a vintage ruby with ~5 years in bottle, the petite sirah has a similar profile to a 10 year tawny, the cask reserve maybe 15 (if that existed) and the maduro is like a 20 year.
These guys make some legit port, can easily stand up to what's coming out of the Douro.
