I’ve been here a handful of times and never had any issues with the people who work here but today for some reason the blonde girl with hardly any personality wanted to give me a hard time and constantly give me bad looks. Finally at the register I said, “This is my sweatshirt”because she was looking at me like I stole the sweatshirt. She responds with, “I know that’s yours but what about your backpack?”I said, “This is my backpack and FYI this is a Diaper Bag/Backpack and this backpack doesn’t belong to you.” She said, “No why wasn’t it put back behind the register?” I said, “I’ve never been asked to put my backpack behind the register ever”. And I start opening my 150 Diaper bag/backpack so she could see I have nothing inside that belongs to the store. What do you know, I only had my belongings in it. I think it was super rude and out of line. Considering the amount of items I tried on in the dressing room, I came back out with every single item that I went in with plus they have sensors on their clothes. Hello? I don’t feel safe with my backpack being not with me and behind the register. Just because the employees have it behind the register doesn’t mean it’s safe. Some employees aren’t honest and truthful and would love the chance to be able to go through a customers personal belongings and take what they feel they can get away with. I will not shop here again. The clothes honestly suck and the staff need some attitude adjustments.

I'm new to Yelp but wanted to share an unpleasant experience I had here within the last year or two. I have been to this store several times before this happened and really liked it, even purchasing a few pairs of pants. I am no longer going to shop here due to this experience. I was followed around by a woman working there and accused of stealing, which I denied but she demanded to see inside of my bag or else she would call the police. I showed her the inside of my bag with nothing taken from the store, and immediately left, very shaken and upset. I am a visibly nonwhite person and I hope sharing this will help inform other people of color who are interested in checking out this store. Racial profiling is not a good look.

So I have been wondering if my experiences here were isolated instances/off days for the business, but after reading some of the other reviews, I can see that that is definitely not the case. I don't even need to go into the gory details, I'll just echo what so many other reviewers have said, although this is a fantastic store with a ton of great stuff in it, the employees are sincerely lacking in any type of Basic human awareness/interaction skills at best and incredibly, distastefully, rude at worst. The older, blonde woman is one of the worst employees I've ever encountered, makes you feel like she is expecting you to steal any moment, blatantly rude when she speaks to you, and must have taken a seminar in how to drive potential customers away from a business, because she sure excels at that. There is no excuse to treat paying customers like they are thieves, hard stop. If the owner reads any of these, I would, sincerely Urge them to consider what I and so many other people have said and think about getting staff that will actually make people want to come and spend money in your store

This review is of their customer service and the attitude my daughter received. On Sunday the morning of April 23rd. They didn't open on time and my daughter and I waited till 11 am and it didn't seem like they were opening. Went to another store and about 11:12am there was a lady in there. Lights were partially on so my daughter politely asked if they were open and the grumpy woman behind the counter said "uhh ya that's what I'm doing" with that attitude we left. Wasn't about to give a single dime to this place. Disappointing

Loved this place! Such a fun place to shop for clothes that you can’t find anywhere else at great prices. My friend and I were here for a couple hours because there’s so much to look at! Great vibe, friendly staff. Definitely a stop to make on your trip.

Disheartened to see all the negative reviews and experiences, as I absolutely LOVE this shop! Anytime I'm in Petaluma I stop in and always receive friendly service. Endless selection of clothing, accessories, and little nick-knacky things. I've found some really nice quality pieces here for a fraction of what they would be at other local thrift stores/depop.

I would give this no stars but can’t. I went today and they were re-selling a free people tote bag for $10. When it is a FREE bag from the actual store! The people weren’t welcoming and overall wasn’t a good experience. Don’t recommend

They've always got some pretty fantastic stuff. I bought some velvet pants that I love; I wear them all the time now. They also have gemstones (I don't really know anything about them and I'm not convinced they do anything, but I bought some anyway because they're pretty and I could use some good energy) and incense, as well as some pretty great stickers and a few other miscellaneous items. Sooooo many denim pants. I do wish they had more non-denim pants, but they get new clothes pretty regularly so there's always next time. All of the employees that I have encountered have been really friendly (three different employees).

Some great finds in this place! Well curated thrift items at some really great prices. And the staff was nice enough. My partner found a very cute leather motorcycle jacket and I found a few albums to add to my collection. I would definitely suggest checking it out. Frampton approved

This is the coolest store. I mean there are tons of "coolest stores" and Petaluma has a ton, but this is a must peruse store. Give yourself time and go slow, there are some real gems if you're a good thrifter. They are a consignment type store, but the prices are still very reasonable. Love just wandering looking for things I don't need.
