Stewart was awesome! He informed me of everything I needed and even a problem with a gasket leaking (very minor leak) and they do not handle fixing the problem there at OilStop. He did, however, recommend a stop leak product, since the leak is so minor, which I got. All in all, I was very pleased with Stewart and OilStop. I have been going to this OilStop for almost 10+ years!! I recommend this OilStop to all who live in Petaluma!

Very professional but unfortunately unable to complete the fuel filter replacement! They said the cap was cracked and the socket was rounding the nut out, he even put vise grips on the cap. He said he did not feel comfortable trying to get it off anymore. Then gave me the second filter because it take two (deisel) and said he would knock $20 off the $100. Service. So all in all my bill was $350. For an oil change and a fuel filter replacement. My Delership does not even charge this much. And unable to get my name right, 3 times and they still got it wrong! Kids these days have no dexterity. Also since giving them my phone number and email I have been receiving a barrage of spam and unsolicited calls.

I have always had great service at Oilstops. They are all very polite, and get the job done. They offer suggestions to improve your car performance, but never pressure you.

Nice staff, but in Fremont CA, I paid the same service ( fully synthetic oil) $ 87 that included a free car wash. Here I paid with a voucher of $15 dollars, still $119.
The stars are only for the staff. Without good staff you won’t survive. However Your price is not competitive!

I had been coming here for close to a year. Each time I came here for an oil change it always seemed to take well over an hour. This despite the fact that never had I been more than the second car in line. The employees were generally good and nice but they always seemed to be trying to sell something—an oil treatment, an air filter, windshield wipers, etc.
The last time I came here, the oil change was taking an especially long time. After well over an hour I was told that they were having trouble removing the oil filter. Another 15 minutes later and I was told they would not be able to remove the oil filter and that I should go to a mechanic or the dealership. At least they were willing to waive the half-complete oil change and pay the cost to remove the oil filter.
I will not be returning and I’ll start taking it to the dealership. It will be more expensive but it’s better to pay for a job well done. Oil Stop is just not competent enough.

I had to wait a bit because it is first come first serve but otherwise the service is always prompt, descriptive with beverages while you wait.
I know my car is better for all that they do.
