We were assigned to Melanie and for several years of auto renewals of 4 policies with state farm we had no issues. When we did need to touch base with her to understand how to proceed on an issue with our home insurance renewal, she gave poor guidance for navigating the issue, and then refused to take our calls. She was willing to spend over a half hour on the phone with my husband trying to sell him life insurance, but was not available to be our expert on how to help us navigate the scary process of how to make sure we did the correct things to keep our home owners insurance.

If I could provide a 6 star review for Melanie and her team, I would. I have been a client for about 5 years and each claim we have filed have been supported by her with the 'client comes first' position. Whenever issues arose that made no common sense, she agreed and fought for making it right. I highly recommend using Melanie as your agent. They should rebrand the State Farm commercial saying to "Like a good neighbor, Melanie is there!"

The final straw with this agent was when I was stuck in the side of the road in 110F heat with little to no reception and kept getting referred to an online for a tow. I could not access this. I called their office and was given the run around for over an hour. What a scary and unsafe place to be in. In addition, my bill constantly increases although I haven't had a ticket in 20 years. Whenever I approach Melanie about this, she provides no solutions. She is only available limited hours M-Th (must be nice). At one point she needed to speak to me. I asked her repeatedly to email as I cannot take time off work to speak with her during her limited hours. It was constant phone messages for literally 1 item that could have been sent in 5 sentence email. She forgot to add rental car coverage to my policy a year ago, which I discovered when I needed it. She has had the opportunity to acknowledge and make all of this right but never did.
