Matto insurance is a SPECTACULAR company!! They are professional, communicative, responsive, and always incredibly helpful. They helped me find terrific homeowners insurance which wasn’t an easy feat because I live in a high risk wildfire area. Other insurance brokers quoted me much higher for very similar coverage. I am VERY pleased with Matto and all the work they’ve done for me!! I also have my car insurance through Matto and may be adding on other things as well. If you want a truly trustworthy insurance company, give Matto Insurance a call immediately. I could not recommend them more!

They are all so friendly and helpful in the Matto office. Both Sonoma's and Petaluma's. I had AAA before and would never go back. They have also helped with our family home in Tahoe. They go the extra mile and I highly recommend them

Joe Matto took a lot of time to explain our auto and home policies at different times with Allstate. He quoted pricing and gave detail as to the particulars of facets of our policies. He is always readily available. It makes us comfortable with our valued possessions, two autos and our home.

Joseph Matto reached out to me because I qualified for less expensive auto insurance. I therefore w=switched my insurance policy and am saving $40. a month. The agency provided me with excellent customer service.

Reached out to Jennifer to get an insurance quote for a home I was purchasing. We exchanged a few emails and also a phone call to give her details on the new property. She said she would get back to me with a quote. She never did. I reached out to her again asking if there was any status. No response. Must be nice to have so much business that you don't need new customers.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS PLACE!! I recently signed up with Allstate online. I finalized my policy online, paid $750 in full for the next six months, I received a 'welcome to Allstate email' and printed my ID cards, etc. One week later I received a collection letter in the mail saying my policy was cancelled. The collection letter stated I was refunded $650 (the day after I had signed up) and that I still owed another $95 for 'services.' I talked to someone at the 24 hour line and was told my application was rejected due to not having insurance for the past 3 years (I just got a car almost 6 months ago) and because of a violation 7 years ago. (A fact that Geico did not take issue with, but after they considerably raised their prices due to all of the recent CA fires, I had to find alternative coverage). I did not get a call or email saying my application was rejected and have been driving around for a week believing I was insured! I was told on the phone I must not have gotten my full refund and apparently still owe $95 because of processing fees for reviewing my application. Had I known Allstate would scam me out of $200 for an 'application fee' just to reject me after the fact without even having the professional decency to let me know ASAP, I never would have considered them as my insurer. Please, don't waste your money on this company! Wholly unprofessional, a huge waste of money and a huge waste of time, not to mention terrible service as I did try to contact them to resolve the issue but my calls were never returned. Go anywhere else but this place. I got the same coverage from progressive for $300 less!! (the person who signed me up with progressive was also appalled at Allstate's terrible business practices and assured me they do not conduct business in such a manner). (And yes, this is indeed the Keller St. office in Petaluma, CA that I am referencing in this review).

I have multiple policies and both Joe Matto and Jaime Torgrimson have been amazing! They are very responsive to calls and emails with questions. I only wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they are really that good. Any situation that has occurred with my car or the Northern CA fires has been handled efficiently and professionally. I also found their prices to be lower than others, but for this service, I would actually be ok if it cost a bit more. Additionally, there is the added (and rare) bonus of demonstrating compassion and understanding when it is needed and appreciated most.

I love this place! Always so helpful always keeping me in the loop and always ahead of me! They notice rate increases and inform me so I'm not surprised by the bill. Even if my rates went way up I would never change the customer service is top notch and the times I forget to pay my bill they contact me so I don't lose coverage, it's not there job to do that but they always go the extra mile!

I've had insurance with the same agent for years. From the first time I spoke to him on the phone to set up my insurance it was a fiasco. Just recently my insurance plan went up and before that I had tried to contact him for over a month about adding life insurance and renters insurance. I received no call back or response to me emails, I gave up and moved on. When my plan went up I contacted the main person and explained everything that has happened and how I was extremely unhappy. I was met with a response that was argumentative non friendly email. After I responded yet again I received a response from my agent who stated he had sent me a post card saying my plan was going up. I have never received anything stating my plan was going up even though there was "proof" every email survey I have ever received I explained my annoyance with Allstate and my rude agent. No one has ever contacted me. I even called the 1800 number for help about switching my agent and the male on the phone was extremely rude. It sounded as if he answered on his cell phone and told me to just go online and figure it out. I told him that I could not access it at the moment and that is why I was calling him. He eventually gave me some half ass information. I went with Progressive even though it is not as personal, but it's not like I received any help from my agent anyway.
