Maselli's is one of the best kept secrets of Bay Area designers who love using reclaimed material. The yard is full of beautiful metal objects that can be repurposed, and they have a shop on site to help you customize your finds when that is necessary or create completely custom furniture and objects out of reclaimed metal. And the scrap yard is attached to one of the best hardware stores around. So much to love in the family business where you will find the son, grandsons, and nephews of the founders running the shop. Truly a treasure.

I have been a long time customer of maselli, The last two visits have been unpleasant at best,on my last visit I tried to buy an item with a clearly marked price 395,00. I went to the desk to pay and they told me to go out to the item and wait.I did as they asked, A young man came out and basically yelled at me,saying that it was 600.00 and if I did not like it look it up in a catalog of new similar items. We charge accordingly!! Stating that If I did not like to bad. Bait and switch comes to mind. also would like to say that rude does not cover this person, He is unprofessional and offensive. I will never set foot in MaselliStore ever again. Even if they had the last life boat and I was drowning.Obnoxious,Arrogant, Snotty and unnecessary. I think it will be an interesting auction when they close their doors.

Vast (Family owned) hardware store with a a nice selection of commercial hardware tools as well as a steel yard. It’s more of a barebones (compared to HD or Lowes) counterpart that can be utilized as a more niche segment of the industry (think commercial). Nice store.

Nay-sayers are clearly near-sighted and simply do not "get it" - this business fills the niche for us who rely on a local source for surplus/reclaimed, and new materials. They are a 100% no-BS business with contractors, makers, and discerning homeowners in mind. One must realize: they could sell their acreage for literally MILLIONS, and we who rely on them would be left without this priceless resource. THANK YOU Maselli's!!! - a regular at your yard / owner of Petaluma Sign Co.

Never shop here! Customer service is horrible. Rude! Especially older woman behind the counter! Had to return a $14.00 item because it didn't fit. The rude woman behind the counter gave us a look as we walked in with our opened package. She just stood there and didn't say a word. I had to ask her if she could help me. I told her I needed to return this item and then handed her my receipt from 2 days earlier. We cant take this back, you opened it". We can't sell it because you opened it. Excuse me? I explained to her I had to open it to see if it would fit. I again explained to her how I had to open it to see if the bracket inside would fit. The rude woman told me to take it home. No customer service at this place!! Seriously, the loss of a customer or $14.00 ? I will never shop here again! RUDE!

One of the best organized salvage yards you will ever find. If your looking for old machinery or industrial stuff that you would spend a lot of time and energy looking for elsewhere, trust me, it’s here somewhere.

I went to Maselli's only because they are the nearest Stihl dealer. But had I known better, I would have driven to Santa Rosa to make my purchase. These people are are right wing anti-maskers. And the older woman working at the front counter was wearing a "Let's Go Brandon" t-shirt. She also apparently never says thank you to people who are wearing masks, even when you spend close to $1,000 at her store. People's politics don't bother me; we all have opinions. But this crossed a line. There are other places to shop who treat their customers with respect, even if they choose to wear a mask. Shop elsewhere.

If you can't find it, anywhere else, you can find it here! The super store of Sonoma County. I needed special chain, metals and fasteners for a welding project last month, expecting to have to order online, they had everything I needed! Right next to freeway on and off ramp, great location!

Don't go here if you care about other people and yourown health because these folks don't believe in masks. They are arrogant and flaunting the law. NONE of the staff wore masks or kept safe distance when interracting. Try Ace Hardware first. Very helpful people there.

Awesome place for your regular HW Store needs, but the attached - very well organized and diversified - "junk" yard also gets one's creative juices flowing for one's various home projects. Truly awesome and unique place.

This is where you go if you need metal. I couldn't believe how much they had of not only what I needed but every other variation of metal imaginable as well. And if you were like me you might think ok they have a lot of metal but so do most scrap/salvage yards. May be true but this place is organized well. To be able to organize the amount of product they have to the extent they have is really impressive. I was able to find and pick exactly what I needed, which was rather specific and not common everywhere. I matched my project almost perfectly and will have to make only 2 minor cuts to fit exact. I never expected that out of salvage. If I wasn't able to find what I did in salvage they also had brand new product on hand with an option to cut to size. I didn't see the cost on that inventory/service but I got my salvage pieces for a very fair price and left spending less than I estimated and with more metal too. So in conclusion, this is where you go if you need metal.
