We had a party at work yesterday, so my coworker placed a special order for a carrot cake on Wednesday for pickup on Friday morning. After he picks up the cake, he comes back to work. About 2 hours later, we go and open the cake so we can take a picture, and we saw a cake of destruction. There was a hole in the cake and it had slid from the center to the edge. So I call the Lucky store where he got the cake and talked to the Bakery Department. I explained to her what it looked like and even sent pictures to her (the ones I have on here). She tried to say that it didn't happen at the store and it appeared to have been shaken. I told her that it happened at the store and there was no way that happened at our location because the store to the job is not that far and when you look at it no frosting was moved to the other side so therefore the accident occurred there. Also, why was it so hard for them to find the cake when he arrived and also the lady didn't open the box to look at the cake before he left the store and he even told the manager that on the phone. The manager said that she was going to check the camera and then call us back and never did. She didn't call us back because the damage to cake occurred at the store and it also showed that the lady never checked the cake before my coworker left. That cake was $30 dollars and something should be done for bad quality. But nothing probably will happen so this is a warning to please stay away from the Lucky store on Lakeville in Petaluma, CA. We are not going to order anything else from there!!

The store is clean, well-lit and the employees are very nice. Their prices are soooo much better than Safeway or Raleys. They usually do not run out of of sale items and their house brands are good quality.

Best grocery store in town! Always well stocked, efficient, and the staff always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Superb bakery, meat selection, and deli. Give them all a raise! ? Thank you Lucky Lakeville!!Unlike the "Yucky Lucky" on the Blvd ?.

This place is so much better than the other location. It's bigger, cleaner and has a better selection of everything I've looked for. It also has a deli, a bakery and a prepared foods counter unlike the other location.The atmosphere is pleasant, and you smell flowers when you first enter the store. I especially love the produce section. Besides fruits and veg, there's a quality selection of salads, dressings, herbs and vegan novelties.The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I swear they used to have a sushi counter, which I miss greatly!

Self check out no one was there , of course I needed assistance twice with self checkout , waited so long for help that I had to search for assistance , staff was very nice , very. Very clean store
