The people are nice, but I am not sure if they are overworked or just not willing to give better service. I bought my car at this location so I wanted to give them my business. However, my car is electric and has had more recalls in the last year than in the two previous years that I bought it. Due to a recall issue my car was towed to the dealership on two separate occasions and I didn't get it back for 5 weeks the other for 5 days. Both times however, no continued communication, no loaner. I had to hitch rides to work. No idea how to fix the problem. No recall parts arriving as predicted by them. Then they didn't have the courtesy to charge my car after they left me stranded both times.
The second time I was told I could get a loaner but they would only pay for 30 dollars a day and only if it was a ford vehicle. Of course, no Ford Vehicle was available. I get it is new technology as an electric car, but then they should have loaners for us due to their need to take longer as usual to complete the work. :( I am disappointed in this particular dealership. I have been advised by family and friends that the Novato Ford Dealership provides much better service. I will be taking my business there.

The Hansel Ford Service department in Petaluma is top notch! Our service adviser Juan was excellent in communicating back and forth with updates and questions as well as getting the truck looked at with ease and getting dispatching the same day, even without an appointment. Great work all around!

I would have given 5 stars but picking up my car it would be nice if you have a garbage can by the pickup area as my car had plastic seat cover, paper floor mat and number on the rear view mirror left in it, very slopping I think.

Keith Jones made buying my Maverick Hybrid a breeze. He was very knowledgeable, made sure we comfortable, and made a process that is usually stressful, amazingly easy. My turn! Wow what a positive experience my buying a vehicle from "Hansel Ford of Petaluma", Ca.
The dealership was cutting edge, showroom inside & out with numerous available new automobiles displayed, quite comfortable to hang in and very clean!
I must compliment my superior Salesman Mr. Evelio Pineda, he bent over backwards to help me including picking me up at my rental car drop off in town.Also the finance department meaning thanks to Christian & Doug who both display professional business acumen. And a big thanks to the detail department for their excellence. Last but not least, a shout out to the Manager John.
I have bought new vehicles off the floor in other dealerships but this one stood above those three.
Good job fellas and so appreciated.

A year ago I bought a truck and Evelio was my sales advisor. My truck was so bad that I paid 21 thousand dollars and I ended up selling it for 8 thousand because they repaired it almost 10 times and it never looked good.
They changed the engine, changed the oil, changed the fuel pump and they never got it right, the last “engine change” looked good and I used it to go to Reno with my whole family and my truck stopped moving on a hill So much so that it put MY ENTIRE FAMILY at risk, the truck stayed in Lake Tahoe for 2 days and we spent money on truck rentals and vehicle repairs there and the diagnosis was that THEY DID NOT CONNECT THE ENGINE AND THE HOSES WELL, do you know the problem that What would they have if something serious happened to my family? Anyway, after the trip we went to tell them what happened to us and they said they are not responsible nor will there be a refund, we asked them that we wanted to sell them the truck and they were giving me 5 thousand dollars? They are kidding right? After all the mental exhaustion it was the least they could offer.
If you have the opportunity to buy something there, miss it, CARMAX is better, they bought the truck from us and we already bought 2 more vehicles with them.
This time they won't beg me to lower my comment because I have no reason to return! :)

I always gave a good experience at Hansel Ford of Petaluma!
Everyone there makes it so easy. From the time I drop off my vehicle till the point of picking it up. They also offer free pick up and delivery if I so please.

I came here to Hansel Ford of Petaluma because I have heard great things from friends and family. I was so happy with my experience looking for a new car and the service was so nice and simple! The sales person was super nice and the managers too!
