I have had several vehicles repaired over the years by G & C, and never had any issue with their work, or how they corrected things when something was not quite right.
Until now.
They pulled the right front wheel well liner out to repair damage done to the front right corner. When we picked it up it looked great. Fast forward a few months and I get a call from my mechanic asking if I had any work done on that corner. He noticed while changing my oil that all the screws were missing from the wheel well liner, causing it to rub on the CV joint boot. That boot was shredded and now the CV joint and axle need to be replaced.
My mechanic had to use screws laying around the shop, along with screws from the left side liner, in order to make the car safe to drive. The Phillips head screw in one of the pictures was added by my mechanic and holds the wheel well liner in place, one of several screws they deny they removed.
Their response was that they did not have to remove the liner except for two screws. They said that the removal of the liner was not part of the documented work performed. He would not agree that there is a difference between what is documented and what was actually done.
They refused to acknowledge in writing that they had no involvement in the missing screws.
I am now on the hook for several hundred dollars of damage caused by their negligence.

WARNING DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP!
I started the repair/claim in November and the repairs have been finalized until mid April. The repair of the bumper when returned to me was not properly installed and the headlight wasn’t replaced. I took it back a second time to get the light and bumper repaired AGAIN, after what was supposed to be a simple repair they rebroke an attachment on the bumper. I go again a third time to pick up final repairs and the headlight is still not replaced and had not been ordered since NOVEMBER. I go a 4th time to get light replaced it was supposed to be a one day thing and turned into a 2 day thing. I finally go and my car is parked and wasn’t even called that it was ready. Save the time and aches and go somewhere else.

Clean and comfortable lobby, friendly and very helpful employess. They made my suv damage and repair process as easy as can be, and helped me get into a rental car, same day. What is such a stressful situation was made almost a pleasure because of the wonderful customer service. I definitely recommend G&C ?

Having to bring in your car because you were rear ended is never a fun time, especially if it’s your first time accident. Lori at G&C was amazing throughout the process. She explain what would happen every step of the way, text me updates every Tuesday and Thursday and answer all of my silly questions. She truly made me feel comfortable and went above and beyond!

Had a bumper and paint work done. Took the car in Feb 2022, they never got the part, and they kept my car for a week before calling me. Got my car back, still waiting on the bumper, now 2023. They never called me when the part was shipped to them in August 2023. I will never return their due to their lack of professionalism and communication and follow up.Services: Painting

We took our car to G&C for repairs on recommendation of our insurance company. They did an absolutely perfect job, within the range of their original quote and service representative, Lori, very professional. She was quick to respond to questions and kept us informed through the process. The car was returned to us perfect and spotless inside.

My wife was in an accident 3 months ago and the auto body shop still has not completed repairs on components that have sat there at their shop waiting to be installed. They refuse to return phone calls and have failed to keep my wife and I updated as to why they have been unable to complete very simple repairs. Although they had no problem cashing the check from the insurance company, they have been absolutely horrible when it comes to customer service and follow-through. I have been in the automotive repair industry for 20 years and have never experienced such a lack of professionalism, deceitfulness, and disrespect on behalf of the staff and management team. I would not recommend their services to anyone, even my worst enemy! I understand things happen, parts get delayed, but simply picking up the phone and updating your customers is a fundamental aspect of the service and repair industry and G and C Autobody has failed miserably! If 0 stars were an option, I would give them that. The experience has been nothing short of miserable and they have basically attempted to steal money from the insurance company and their customers, by lying consistently and failing to provide even the simplest of explanations as to why a vehicle that has parts readily available, has taken 3 months and counting, to complete. Steer clear of these guys. I recommend Blake's autobody or Classic Collision as an alternative. I recommend you have your insurance check written to you as the customer and hold out paying these guys until all repairs are completed because as soon as they have your money, their motivation goes straight to hell! Shame on them!
