The owner is unpleasant to say the least. He gets upset that whenever I usually only buy one or two things, even after he requested I start paying with cash. I respected his wish and now always pay with cash, but he still complains and then arrogantly insulted me for buying a couple lotto tickets, commenting that he thinks it's a scam (so he thinks he's scamming his customers then?), and then practically laughed at me that he was taking my money. Don't give him your business. There are other places close by that don't insult their customers

Woudnt go in unless you have cash or paying over $10 on card will over charge you to make up credit card fees . Also automatically thinks your high-school student. Won't let you buy one lotto card and milk on card.

Horrible service, I've been there multiple times and today did it for me!! I went in wanting help. The owner or I think he's the owner as he's the only one who's ever there when I go. Everytime I go inside, he gives an attitude and does want to help. Just right now, I was in there for 10 min and I could hear him in the back and saw him a couple time. I called for help and he didn't come out to help me. On the contrary, eventually he went outside instead. I know heard me, he just didn't seem in the mood to help. I ended up just leaving.

This is the best, friendliest corner store in Petaluma! They have a great beer/wine selection and the owners are so lovely!

The cleanest store in town. (probably anywhere) I've been going in Fairwest Grocery for almost 20 years. When I walked in 20 years ago, I said to myself, "this store is clean!" I walked in yesterday and what was the owner doing? Wiping down counters after every single person checked out, cleaning the shelves, clean, clean, clean. And they ARE NOT overpriced. For the service, the cleanliness, THE SMILE, and the product selection, it's priced just right.

This is the best little neighborhood store! The owners are friendly and helpful. They carry local craft beers and have a good food selection including fresh Clover dairy products. They're always there for us when we run out of something we need quick. Great place!

They are super friendly there, which is awesome and worth a couple of stars... and they are a small local business so I've always been okay with paying a dollar or two more for things BUT they also started charging a $1 for anything under $20 which I also understand BUT.... they seem to continue to charge me that $1 when I'm over $20, randomly and not on accident. They rush me to input pin and I don't notice until I'm out of the store and feeling too defeated to go back and argue Again. You'd think that a regular customer who's definetly throwing them $150 a month wouldn't be taken advantage of but I am, consistently, with a smile from him.

Used to walk down there every lunchtime from the high school with my friend in the 70s , to get an RC and cream cheese! Loved that little store.
