Tim's the best! Been coming to him for almost 3 years now. He's done a bunch of work for me; everything from wheel building to brake installs. He talks me through the process and gives me a bunch of options. Can't recommend him enough!

Amazing shop.My only thing is, I asked this guy about his view on BMX & bikes & he made it about his shop & how basically we weren't buying from him that it was wrong.... As someone who's in the bin industry I value someone's opinion especially what's good & what isn't.Came off very rude.

Tim was super helpful during my weekend visit to Petaluma. He has a great shop and has years of experience in the bike industry. If I lived here, he’d definitely be my mechanic.

Oh my Godzilla I had a very similar experience to one other reviewer here. I wish I had checked the reviews thoroughly. So I recently had to replace the brake pads and brake cables on my bicycle and, wanting to support a local business, I found this shop through a Google search. Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t good. After dropping off my bike on a Saturday, the owner said he would get back to me in a couple of days. However, I didn't hear from him until the following Thursday, and when I called, he sounded rather irked and informed me that the shop is usually closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. While I wasn't in a hurry, it would have been nice to know that. When I returned the following Saturday, the owner quoted me $200 to replace the brake pads and cables. This was significantly more than I had expected to pay, so I declined. However, the owner then presented me with a bill for $25 and claimed that he had to put in a bike-stand and diagnose the problem. I found this to be complete bologne, as we both knew exactly what needed to be replaced. I didn't want to create a scene, so I paid the bill and left feeling like I had been had.If you're looking for a bike shop, I would recommend finding a different one. This one may not provide you with the transparency and honesty

Best bike mechanic around. Lots of experience working on all kinds of bikes. Lots of respect for for all bikes regardless of age or price. When you drop your bike off, be patient as Tim is the greeter, floor manager, cashier, owner, manager, and mechanic. If you hate fancy, snobby bike shops full of people who don't know what they're doing then you need to come here. Tim knows what he's doing.

I always get fast, courteous service at Church's, There is a caring (not big box store) level of concern about his customers. I highly recommend this place for all your bike maintenance.

I took my bike in to be evaluated. After the owner lost my invoice and other mishaps he informed me ....after.... the evaluation that he charged a $30 CASH only fee. Never in the initial agreement, sketchy but see for yourself. There is a reason why he only has a few reviews...just saying.

Trying to support a small business owner ....and not worth it...Tim the owner lost the invoice for my bike and I had to call him to follow up, no big deal, it happens. When he finally found the invoice he said it was stuck to another invoice. Ok, I guess. Then over the phone he said he would evaluate my bike for free.. like all other bike shops. Finally following up he left me a VM that the tune up would cost $160 ...it was more than the value of the bike and I declined for him to fix. Next, in a VM and a text he said that the cost to evaluate the bike was $30 and CASH ONLY. Never in the agreement. His Follow up response was not professional.

I recently got a Huffy cruiser which was in need of a serious tune up. It needed new tubes and tires, gears fixed and brakes adjusted. It is just the one guy and he does all the work himself. Picked up the bike today and is great. Great value for the work I got done.
