Has anyone really taken a look around? the property is covered in debris...one of the back kennel areas was just used for Trash....old empty cans, shredded tarps, empty dog food bags....Also 2 of the owners were always using "medical" marijuana ....I saw it personally ....and Jean is mean!

I absolutely love this Kennel. This is a family owned kennel. Jean is a miracle worker. I had to board my Bull mastiff. I was really worried how it was going to go because he has server Anxiety issues. He will not come to anyone but me. He hides when other people are around. I brought him and 2 other dogs to Bonnie Brea. Our Mastiff was Nervous at first. But after about 10 minutes Jean was able to make him comfortable. In order to help calm him down Jean actually laid on the floor of the kennel so that she didn't come off as a threat.By the time I left she had our dog eating out of her hand. I will never go to another kennel. He has never done that with any one but me. I highly recommend Bonnie Brea. 10 stars!

I have been using Bonnie Brae for the last decade. They have cared for my dog every time I travel and she loves to go there. Don't judge a book by its cover. It may not be the greatest looking kennel but they make up for it in how well they take care of your dog.

Very personalized service. I have a small, old and sick dog and they keep him in their house instead of the kennels. We've been using them for years.

Please don't take your dog here! I paid an unexpected visit to this awful place and found the kennels filthy with feces and urine covering the floors. No beds or blankets or towels for the dogs. Plus they were OUT OF FOOD! they said they were going to the store later that day! The dogs that were boarded there from dog rescues were filthy and underweight. The dogs were all fighting with their neighbors. Ask them about the dead puppies buried in the yard.

I showed up at 1015am to pick up my dog and he was covered in dried feces as was his bed pad we brought. He had not been fed since the night before and had more than a dozen fat ticks on him. This place really smells bad and could use some investment in upkeeping or upgrading the facility.

If you're looking for a high tech, fancy, and expensive doggie day care, then this place is not for you. On the other hand, if you want a place where your pets are pampered by owners that truly love what they do ,then check them out. We've been taking our pets there for 20 years now, and our dogs actually like going there. Kind of like taking your kids to the grandparents house. Very reasonable prices too.

Not the nicest most modern facilities, but it is obvious that these people really, really love dogs, and when you leave your dog here you can be sure that it will get love and attention. One thing that makes me KNOW that this is a good place to leave your dogs is that when I bring them for a stay, they both are very happy and excited to see the owners and get petted by them. They bark with excitement and wag, wag, wag. Dogs need companionship and love more than a fancy new room when away from home. Prices are good here too.
