Lovely place to stop on Hwy 1 between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz. A nonprofit organic farm with some yummy pies, jams and more. Interesting and unique gifts as well.

Don't miss this place as you stop by, especially in the morning before they sell out of so many of their items.

Was cold and wet so when I saw this place I decided to stop for some pie and coffee. Well, they only had full pies so that didn’t work so I asked for a cup of coffee but they were out. So, I left with nothing. Staff were friendly though!

This is a cute little stop on the highway. $9 for a 5" pie. It was, maybe $30 for a real sized pie. Lots of jams. No fruit pies. You sit at a picnic table to espy your selection. Birds all over.

Visited last year, and am still disappointed. The atmosphere/location is great, service good, and the farm stand items I got (eggs, tiny lettuce, and some fruit) were great, but the pie was inedible. Even if I was in the area again, I probably wouldn't go back, unless I wanted produce items.

One of my favorite places for pie! They run out pretty quickly so either to eat you go super early or call in advance for pie. I love that they don't always have the same pie so it's a great mix of variety. I also love that they have fresh produce, jam, bread, and more selections to choose from so that it's not just for pies. Definitely place to check out !

Had fewer pies than I was expecting - they only had about 3-4 variations of flavors in different sizes and a couple of breads from Companion Bakeshop. Everything is baked at Companion with ingredients from the Ranch, then is brought over every morning. They do sell other items like beef jerky, candles, stationery, tees, produce, jams, etc. It's very pleasant inside - there's a sort of quaint charm in the air.We got the strawberry galette, which I found to be a little too tart, and the lemon olallieberry custard pie, which was delicious. I also tried the mango habanero beef jerky, which was way too spicy for me, and bbq jerky, which was good but on the tough side. I'll have to come back again for apple and pumpkin pies this season!

There's a lot more to the ranch than pies. The produce, eggs and general production is sustainable and they are striving towards farm practoces that generate carbon credits. Spend some time there and ask questions. Lots of food for the mind.

I can't rave enough about Pie Ranch! Their unwavering commitment to selling local fresh produce shines through in every product they offer. I was particularly smitten with the local honey and ground coffee - the coffee was aromatic and set the tone for my mornings. And let's not forget about the frozen pie! Bringing it home and enjoying it was a delight, a testament to the quality of their goods. What stood out, even more, was the service. The staff were not only friendly but exuded a passion for their work and the ranch's mission. It's truly heartwarming to support a place that aligns its commendable vision with top-notch products and service. If you're on the hunt for quality produce, delicious treats, or just a place that radiates positive vibes and dedication, Pie Ranch is a must-visit. I'm eagerly awaiting my next trip!

Just keep on driving if you are looking for a decent pie. Overpriced and tart. I gave 2 stars because I liked the book selection.
