It's maybe a 3 and half but I'll go 4 because it's in such a beautiful spot. But truly - Costanoa - the campground where it's located - is gorgeous. And the building the restaurant is in is really beautiful too. I got the smoked salmon Benedict which I quite enjoyed. They loaded it up with salmon - definitely did not feel skimped. Eggs were well poached. I've had better hollandaise, but thiers was still really solid. The breakfast "bravas" on the side were good. They have a small, but sufficient (although slightly spendy) kids menu. My daughter got the pancakes which came with yummy berries on top. Good sized. The service was maybe a bit inattentive? Very rarely saw any of the waitstaff. Having said that, it wasn't a particularly slow meal. No one ever asked to refill my coffee though... maybe they don't do refills?

Service was great; friendly and attentive in a non-obtrusive manner. Cozy, comfortable setting. Lunch menu was a hit with my family. Grilled artichoke was the perfect char, my son gave the fried chicken sandwich two thumbs up and my husband and I enjoyed the empanadas. Big portions, delicious. The grounds are stunning, worth the visit!

We are staying at Costanoa RV Park . Great Restaurant and Resort . We have been coming here for years and every meal is always fabulous! Arianna took wonderful care of us! We ordered the Wonderful and beautifully presented crab cake . So, delicious Uber Crab ! 2nd course was a elevated clam chowder. So, great ! I ordered the Stout Pot Roast so, tender and savory ! My hunny ordered the cast iron shrimp so tender and flavorful . Always a delight to dine here :)

Everything about Cascade at Costanoa is fantastic! They are so accommodating in every aspect! Wait staff is available and not hovering. They are also very familiar with what is on the menu and make excellent recommendations if needed. We had intentions of trying other places nearby, but just kept coming back to Cascade as it was so wonderful!

If you live in Half Moon Bay, and you have a friend who lives in Santa Cruz, this is the perfect midpoint to meet for some great food at a comfortable restaurant with great atmosphere with a crisp/modern rustic feel. Artichoke starter is a must!

This restaurant has had its ups and downs over the years. The past year plus, it has been fantastic....new chef and manager. The staff, food, presentation, and all around welcoming vibes have been very positive. Patsy, one of the servers, always goes the extra mile to make our dinning experience special. The locals discount is so great. It's nice to be recognized as a member of the Pescadero community. They also have a Tuesday night local happy hour which is thoughtful and appreciated. This restaurant has gotten better and better over time. I know staffing is hard to find and keep. Right now it's close to perfect. Try it, you'll be happy you did.

Delicious food and super friendly service make this a great spot for a meal. The tomato bisque was hearty. The warm goat cheese and beet salad was delicious. What a great place!

Great food, great service! The Cast Iron Shrimp was more than enough for one person, served with an ample side of fresh greens. The Beef Rage Parrpardelle was delicious - also a very ample serving. Patsy, our host and severe was very congenial, welcoming, and a wealth of information about the local history of the surrounding area.

I think because I had a stellar dinner there a year or so ago, I thought brunch would be special enough to take my sister on her birthday, and some family members. It was not. The venue is stunning, but the service was disorganized. We were also told at 11:15 (!) that the kitchen needed our order RIGHT THEN because after that they would move to the lunch menu. (On a Saturday?) Food was good, not great. The benedicts came with just a small splotch of Hollandaise - not a generous amount. The potatoes were overcooked and over-spiced. And none of it was hot - only warm. And where the young servers were pleasant, they had to be asked 2-3 times for milk for my sister's tea. They knew it was a birthday but when we ordered pie to share, it was brought out with no fanfare, candle etc. So... it was very disappointing. I'll go again for the beautiful venue, but next time for dinner, not brunch.

Most people at our table liked their food but I ordered a burger medium rare and it came well done. Service was slow, 20 minutes to get our drinks with only two other tables occupied.

Cascade does a nice job of combining rustic and elegance. Lively, but not chaotic. Very tasty meal, generous portions, very helpful and friendly down-to-earth service. And we love the commute.

Good food but overpriced. Service was terrible. Served food without serving or eating utensils. Brought wrong entre order while we were barely starting our salads. Cleaned table next to us and started sweeping the floor while we were still eating. We ordered dessert to go and they gave us the wrong thing.

Beautiful restaurant. Family style chicken dinner was very disappointing. Sides were not good and the chicken had a very strange texture. For the price, I expected much more. We stay at Costanoa frequently but will no longer dine on property. Such a bummer.
