Midway Jr. Market, known locally as 'The Red Store', is a family-owned staple in the community. It is a very complete stop shop with a little bit of everything, including fresh meats, produce, meals, wine & spirits, Mexican medicine, propane gas, and more. The deli and meat section is great, with huge, nice cuts of marinated meat and chicken, perfect for carne asada. The food at the taco shop inside is amazing and fire, with highlights like delicious birria burritos, good chorizo, and fire carne asada fries. The workers are always super nice, friendly, helpful, and bilingual. It is an amazing hidden gem with great upgrades and convenient, friendly service.
I use to go to this market all the time as a kid, way before they upgraded it and added a restaurant behind it. The new look is great, the prices however have seen better days. For example, $12 for a case of water.
However, the store offers a great deal of variety and the cashiers are nice enough.

They have great food in the deli/ meat section... The carne aside fries are fire 🔥 🔥🔥 Try their birria burritos and chicken wings! You won't be disappointed!
