I have been going to Los Promos Auto Repair for at least 6 years. The first time I went there was to get a second opinion. I was told by Lakeside Transmission shop that I needed to have my transmission rebuilt. I just happened to be close to Los Primos so I stopped by. The owner Miguel immediately introduced his self, I told him what my issue was and that Lakeside Transmission said I needed to rebuild my transmission. He diagnosed my car. The 4x4 switch was struck in 2nd low gear. I did not have to spend $1,600.00 to rebuild my transmission. I have been a loyal customer of Los Primos every since. Miguel is a great guy and also a wonderful mechanic. He has never let me down, he's honest and fair with his pricing. If you're in need of a great mechanic Los Primos is definitely the best in my opinion.

Five stars for integrity. We took two vehicles to them. Both requiring pretty much the same mechanical work. The first car was done and there was no problems. The second car ended up running into issues being repaired due to a mechanic at the shops fault causing a delay on getting the car back. Instead of the shop creating excuses they went above and beyond to rectify the problem at no additional expense. I understand the best pricing is often desired but the follow-through and integrity of this shop has earned our future business. We definitely understand things happen but how you resolve them is the most important. Far from disappointed.

After several shops and several major issues being fixed and charged high fees, Miguel finally found the real issue. Fixed the issue for the lowest price we have paid and it was ready quicker than any other services we had previously received. He took his time finding the real issue so we wouldn't drive off and be stuck at square one a few miles out. He wasn't set on an issue until he had his hands on the car. Great experience, great customer service, and great prices. We took in a 2007 accord.

Took in my 2012 fiat abarth, these guys were very straight up. They ended up changing my turbocharger. They do fast work, very affordable prices as well. Good place

Great honest mechanic! I've never been so happy to find a good mechanic with good prices. I would recommend coming here. Another mechanic told me that I needed to replace my 2006 Acura RSX transmission, 1800$ Quote, he seemed shady, came to Los primos because a friend recommended it and he solved my transmission issue in under 2 min. Told me it was a wire that a Rat/Bunny must have been chewing on, he replace the wire and my issue was gone, my transmission was fixed. Charged me 40$ ! I gave him 100$ for the honesty. Will recommend this shop to all my friends and Family.
