I was initially hesitant to leave my dobie Khyber, who is my everything, but then Dr. Sanchez surprised me by coming outside to introduce herself. Her warm demeanor immediately put me at ease.
Dr. Sanchez took the time to thoroughly discuss my dog's issues, treatment options, and medication suggestions. She recommended an incredible healing spray that works wonders for wounds and skin irritations—truly magical! She explained probiotics in detail and provided invaluable insights on the best ways to administer his medications and ointments. It was clear that even amidst the morning rush, she was dedicated to ensuring I fully understood everything for my dog's best outcome.
The technicians and staff at Companion Veterinary Clinic matched the high standard set by the veterinarians. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and organized, making me feel right at home. “I drive all the way from Granite Bay for this vet. My dog has seen both Dr. Wallace & Dr. Johnson & we’ve had a positive experience with both. She sees Dr. Johnson for her continuing care- she is very thorough, very knowledgeable, does a great job explaining things, & I can tell she genuinely cares. I feel her care of my dog has gone above & beyond to demonstrate that. The staff is also very friendly, accommodating, & easy to work with. I never feel like anyone, from the vets to the techs to the docs, are trying to force any treatment on my dog, oversell me, or take advantage of me, while still doing a good job of providing their recommendations. Why is it so hard to find a good vet now? Not sure but if you’ve come here you’ve found a good one.”
“We had been going to LBVC since 2008 but since VCA took over the care went downhill and it’s next to impossible to get an appointment. I called and was told they couldn’t get my dog in until November even though it was urgent. I was able to get in and be seen in less than 30 minutes with Sterling Pointe during their after hours schedule. Dr. Irene is patient and explains things very well while being loving with your pets. Great office!”

“It’s hard to find a good vet that you can trust your babies with. This is that place. Jade at the front desk is on top of all your needs. She’s quick to get back to you and will make sure you are taken care of. The doctors and staff at Bowman know what they are there for and make sure you can feel it. We’ve moved out of state recently but will always hold our new vet up to Bowman’s standards. Thank you for all your great care over the years.”

“Highly recommend. I have a reactive dog. The staff here are very accommodating and understanding to her. So much so that I now drive from close to Elk Grove to Roseville for all 5 of my animals. They are always so patient and informative. We just had our first boarding for both my dogs, reactive one included. And they came back in the same condition I left them. The whole staff are so friendly and welcoming. I'm constantly recommending them to all of my friends and family. Thank you guys for all that you do!”

“This place was absolutely amazing. After calling multiple veterinary clinics in the area to assist with unfortunately having to put our little dog down due to him declining in health in a matter of hours very quickly from seizures, they were so accommodating and helpful. The staffs demeanor was caring and so well explained compared to anywhere else we called. Their fees were also way more reasonable than anywhere else. We were so grateful for their compassion and getting us in so quickly to do one of the hardest things in life saying goodbye to our 17 year old fur baby. We cannot express how grateful we are to them in navigating this difficult time.

“We've been coming here for at least a year. I'm not sure the exact length of time, but I mention this because I'm prefacing this review with a TBD. These allergy injection treatments take a couple of years to see results, so we're still waiting to find out if it works. So far, I've been really pleased with the following things. 1. The staff are always super nice and helpful. 2. They have a phone number where we can text pictures of our dog's breakouts so the doctor can look at it quickly without us having to drive an hour round trip to come in. 3. They are the only business in the area that still requires masks, and as someone who is still experiencing symptoms from having covid once, I really really appreciate this! My pitbull has really serious skin issues, and the medications they have prescribed have cleared up the issues in the short-term which is great. We're also on the injections, which are longer term, and this is just for her allergy issues. We have a different vet for everything else. Luckily all of the treatments we've gotten here have been covered by pet insurance, so I feel lucky we've found this place.”

“$300 + for first visit !!!! Please explain that to me before you keep adding more charges. I have to say that yes, it was very shocking to see the bill. But then you realized. These doctors are taking good care of your loving pet. My dog lost one eye because of glaucoma. New, we are applying drops and ointment to the other eye to avoid any complications, even though he lost sight on that eye because cataracts that can't be treaded.”
