It changed a lot over the last 50 years at least shopping here adding new stores in different areas . Always has good service has good and friendly to . I know some of the old timers that work there and tool selection hardware . Windows doors kitchens just about everything you need good selection fairly good value from not being a superstore like home Depot and Lowe's but for selection and quality they're pretty well top notch good value in lumber plywood fencing material is probably the best best in the area of any store”

“Anthony went above and beyond to help me with my bass guitar neck screws. They were hard to find (for me) and I knew to got to Fastenal, because they have everything. He nearly immediately found the correct parts and then found the correct length. I've been looking forward to putting my bass guitar together, meaning the neck to the body and Anthony helped me make it possible. His customer service was excellent. I felt important. Something that lacks in today's brick and mortar these days. The baggers at Lucky don't even smile or say thank you. I recommend Fastenal to you.”

“My home garage air compressor pressure switch failed so I ordered the one for my Central Pneumatic but when I installed it I found the "updated" unit's vent connection had been rerouted and the existing tubing was not long enough. Diddly! After 2 days of frustration in phone calls and buying the wrong material tubing that softened and blew out A-1 Compressor was suggested. I had never heard of them. I called and after listening to my dilemma they simply said we have some nylon on the truck, come-on over. When I arrived they handed me the critical 2' of tubing, no charge, and then took the time to answer a question on the vent system I had. They were just being nice and felt my pain. So, would I take my work to them? For sure! They expected nothing from me but what they got is my respect and high commendation for (not-even-a) customer caring and service! Thanks guys!”

“Sometimes just walking in the door, you know things are going to be great. That happened at Tractor Supply this evening. I walked in and was treated with, "Welcome in!" I asked for dog leashes. "Right this way!" said Bill P. Off we went to the pet section. Bill is the kind of employee who can get along with anyone. He can judge immediately whether a person can take a little kidding and fun. He was perfect. My purchase went smoothly (and it was less than I thought) and everyone was so polite and helpful. That is my favorite store!”

“I find it hard to review a hardware store like one would a restaurant, but I've been here a couple times so I figured I'd give it a try. As far as hardware stores go, this place covers its fair share of ground despite the small size of this particular location. Ive seen Home Depot's with smaller selections and thrice the floor space. Most of the goods are priced (relatively) fairly, especially the light fixtures. For how bright the lamps and lanterns are, I'm surprised they can go for so cheap. Staff is mostly hands-off whenever I stop by, but they're usually pretty knowledgeable if you head over to the counter and ask. I personally prefer not having a staffer check up on me while I'm shopping, so I consider that a positive portion of my experience. All in all, it's definitely a better than average place to go for your hardware needs. Give it a try if you're in the area!”

Sometimes I do wish I didn't hear "do you need help" 10 times, but that's only because I generally like to accomplish my tasks on my own. “Stopped by looking for an obscure plastic connector that broke in my old moen faucet. These guys had it in stock. The staff was super friendly and helpful to look up the model of my faucet (which I did not know) and to make sure that the part would fit. They easily saved me $150 plus labor to replace the whole faucet. Fun fact, they use a large noisy dot matrix printer to print up receipts. Hadnt seen one of those in years, and it made me chuckle.”
