I recently had an experience that truly helped me realize that I'm getting so much out of the yoga classes that I've been attending for about a year and a half. A couple weeks ago I took a plane trip out of state. I have anxiety of being in an enclosed space for too long and this was a 5 hour flight. An hour or so into the trip I started to pay attention to my breath. I pictured in my mind the beautiful Mandala wall at the yoga studio. I even placed my hands into a couple of Mudra poses. Next thing I knew the pilot was announcing that we would soon be decending into Cleveland airport. Blue Door Yoga and Wellness is the reason I can now take a plane ride without so much anxiety and approach other things in life with less stress.

Full transparency, I’m writing this review just after taking the 9am Aligned Strength Vinyasa on a Monday morning in my living room via Zoom (something I never got into during the pandemic). The endorphins are flowing through me like the sweat beads I just wiped off my face. That being said, I could have easily been writing just after the roll + restore class on Sunday nights with a fave instructor in Rebecca or even calmer after a beautiful sound bath which the studio hosts regularly. That’s the best part about Blue Door- the variety of classes, the incredible instructors, and the overall focus on total wellness. As somebody who has done yoga here and there over the years, I’ve found myself aligned (pun intended) to this studio at least 4 times a week in yoga classes since January, in studio and online. While I’ve only had the pleasure of leveraging private acupuncture, the studio also offers massage, nutrition, reiki, and many more services which I can’t wait to check out. Do yourself a favor and book a class set so you can see for yourself how to truly empower yourself through total wellness. For now, it’s time to shower before switching my zoom to less exciting meetings. Thank you Team Bluedoor for all you do!

Love love love this yoga studio! Feel like I come home every time I enter the door. I started just a couple months ago, and I try and get here 4 days a week. This week, I had to miss two days in a row and when I came back in I felt my body was CRAVING the movement and stretches in a way I had never experienced before! The owner, Jesi, is truly an exceptional human being who does her best to make everyone feel welcome. Every class I’ve attended has made me feel better than when I walked in. Love all the teachers - it’s hard to pick a favorite! Everyone here is kind and loving. A haven for healing on every level. Can’t recommend this place enough! So grateful to have found it nestled in Penngrove! ❤️

This is where you want to go to start your healing journey. It’s so much more than a yoga studio. The complementary and alternative health services offered here are concomitantly supplementary and essential to living a healthy, happy & more fulfilling life. Staff include educated and experienced yoga teachers as well as eastern medicine practitioners and service providers. The owner, Jesi, is a wealth of knowledge regarding eastern medicine practices, but also regularly offers wellness classes with expert speakers. On a personal note, I occasionally enjoy spending a little extra time at this place after yoga class, where Jesi has built a special nook for gathering around chai tea & baked goods to facilitate impromptu conversations, foster a genuine sense of community or offer a quiet refuge. And, nothing beats saying farewell to all the crazies by the end of just one hour long yoga session.

I am in love with this studio and the community! I love yoga and love yoga that focuses on the fundamentals and gives historical context of why we do the things we do in yoga. I highly recommend if you are looking for a place of community that offers so much more than just yoga, here is where you will call home. I did the 6 week fundamental class which came with unlimited yoga classes. SO WORTH IT! I've gotten to meet so many new people, made fast friends and learned about yoga and how to better practice yoga.

I love Blue Door Yoga! I’m so glad that I discovered it so close to home. Jesi is so welcoming and warm. I could talk to her for hours. I love the variety of classes and all the teachers are great. It’s not just a Yoga studio, it’s a healing space. And very community oriented. I love that we have tea together sometimes after class.

Blue Door is an amazing yoga and wellness studio. It's a great sense of community and the classes are taught by knowledgeable teachers. They support newcomers and veterans alike. It's not intimidating to start. Check out the new studio. It's a perfect upgrade from the smaller studio and it's provides even more amenities.

Try the online Zoom sessions during this shelter in place! Especially if you used to come to the studio. The sessions are great, and it is very therapeutic to see people you recognize. It is very easy to get signed up. Just go to the regular schedule page and sign up. You will get an email with a link to the class. A single click and you are in. You don’t have to share your video if you don’t want to. Seeing familiar people is great, and your body will feel great after the class. Give it a try! Seriously.

Enjoy this studio so much! Nestled in the quaint town of Penngrove, this sweet community studio is welcoming and gracious. Rooted in spirituality and Ayurvedic tradition while remaining accessible and unpretentious, I'd highly recommend this studio for advanced, practiced yogis as well as those brand new to yoga. The young studio is warm, intimate and lovely with a talented teaching team. I admire Jesi's (Blue Door's founder) alignment-based approach to yoga practice & teaching, and the presence & care she brings to their community. A beautiful place to practice in Sonoma County.

Incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate , and competent teachers! Great variety of classes in content and approach and a wide variety of specialty classes. Wish I had had access to this teaching many years ago!
