La Jolla Trading Post is a rustic-themed gas station and convenience store located in a scenic, wooded area. Customers appreciate the inexpensive gas, clean restrooms, and full array of snacks, groceries, and a cafe with delicious food options, including burgers and sides. The staff is described as very nice and friendly. Visitors can also find local memorabilia, firewood, soft drinks, and beer. Overall, the Trading Post is viewed as a welcoming oasis in the woods, providing a convenient and enjoyable stop for travelers. However, the business will temporarily stop selling gas from January 2nd to March 15th, 2024, due to tank and pump replacement.

We enjoyed stopping by La Jolla Indian Trading post on our way to Lake Henshaw. LJITP feels like 7-Eleven, only rustic themed with very nice and friendly staff. I would love to see local memorabilias the next time we visit.
