Very nice lady on the phone was able to answer my questions after i was on hold for almost an hour for customer service. My friend suggested i call a branch directly instead. After multiple attempts at my local branch in newman with no response i called here in Patterson, and got an immediate response that was very helpful. Thank you.

Bank hours are not convenient at all!I opened a new account and do not have my ATM card yet and have tried 3xs to go into the branch to withdraw cash. They are only open during my work hours and closed for lunch during my lunch break and closed on Saturday when it's my day off??♀️ so I can never get in!When I saw a Bank employee standing outside I mentioned to her how inconvenient their hours are, she said seek out of work early to come to the bank....I was kind of shocked she said that and I told her I can't do that. Please make more convenient hours!! Or at least open on Saturday. The other banks in town have better hours to meet everyone's schedules.

Change working hours schedule everyday, some times opens to public 1.30 pm & close at 4 pm. That's Monday working which is not acceptable at all. All other branches opening timing 9.30 to 4 pm, why only this branch changing their schedule.

Opened up my first and only account here (until recently). I'm not sure if it's just this location but their hours are terrible. They're never open when you need them, and there is a 50/50 chance their atm is down. I think their hours are 9-4, this shows they don't care for the working class, I'm never able to go to the bank during those hours. Weekends I think they're only open couple hours Saturday, I personally would love to work there with those sweet hours as an employee but as a customer it really sucks. Also their investing plan sucks, rolled over an Ira and that's all I pretty much know. I go into the branch to try and transfer my acct but then I get re routed to corporate it's a headache. They need to get their act together.

BUYER BEWARE!! I have heard the Bank of the west claims of "helping the community during these hard times." Seems to me they are just helping themselves. My fiancee received an auto deposit into his acct to pay off a bill & the bank of the west called it a wire transfer & charged him a $15.00 fee. Last month we were on the phone with customer service getting help setting up an auto transfer to another customer @ the same bank. The other customer got a $15.00 fee for a wire transfer that we didn't do. If ur going to bank here, they love to charge u fees for anything they can find.. they have their fingers in everything u do with your acct.. BUYER BEWARE

Staff is great. However they are under staffed. There is no reason one teller is working during lunchtime. The busiest time if the day , especially on a Friday.

I have several complaints about this bank. I don't bank here my mother does but I have had to take over her finances and what un-professional service. The most recent one is, I had forgotten I had opened a account and had deposited 550.00 . I received a letter from the corporate office that after 3 years with no transaction they needed to reimburse me the money or I needed to make a transaction on the account. Because of bad service in the past with them I decided to have them return the money back to me. I went into the bank in May 2019 to with-draw the amount, they told me they could not give me the money because the account was locked. They told me to sign the letter I had received and mail it in to let them know I wanted the account to be active again. I did this on that day and mailed it in. I went back to the bank in June and was told again that the amount was locked still and I would have to call corporate office to see why. I asked them if they could call and they told me they could not . But would have the branch manager look into it. Asked if I could talk with her . I was told no I would have to make a appt. .i got a call 3 days later from her (branch manager)and was told she couldn't do anything . I would ,d have to call cooperate. Out of her hands? So I called cooperate about 1 week later. Corporate office stated they had already sent the money to the state and I would have to call them to get my money. The State said they needed a date and transaction number as to when they sent the money . So once again I had to call corporate office back. I was then told by them that the money was never sent to the state and I would have to go back to the bank and have them do paper work to release my money. By this time I had, had it and told her I would not go back to that branch in Patterson, they would not help and made me feel they could not do anything for me I needed to handle it. I told her to call the Newman branch, the Newman branch had me come in the next day I went in signed a form, which I was told this should have been done the first time I went in to the Patterson branch in May. I had my money within 48 hrs . So why did the branch manager Not know this? My question to her when I went in to collect my money her answer , don't know anything about that situation? Oh but she did because I talked to her directly . On top of all that because of Patterson's incompetence in not knowing policy, they wanted to charge me $10.00 a month going back to April since there was no transaction on the account. Hello , you wouldn't give me my money and your bank had locked the account I couldn't make any transactions!,, They finally gave me back $40.00 but changed me for April. I recommend Newman Bank for banking I will travel the extra 12 miles .Their yelp review says it all. I'm not the only one who has had bad experience there

This bank sucks so bad!! Go elsewhere!! On busy days (Friday's) they only have 1-2 tellers(they have about 5 stations) working and a line of 10 people waiting. It's honestly ridiculous. EVERYTIME I come in I also wait for at least 20 mins. I understand banks get really busy but seriously hire more tellers on busy days. It's extremely annoying.
