Basically scheduling an appointment with this office is a nightmare,I called and scheduled an appointment for getting my female cat spayed.I was quoted $125 for spay, meds and the rabies shot. The female who comes to show you the estimate before getting the procedure started is a stubborn and unprofessional person. She had an estimate that totaled around $580 with add ons, add ons that I never requested. On top she had the audacity to just tell me sign here and here so we can begin.I reviewed the papers and questioned the total.Told her I am here only for my cat getting spayed. She said okay what do you want to keep.I told her only the spaying and rabies shot and pain meds. She came back 4 times with still add ons. Keep in mind she had to go back to her office and reprint a NEW ESTIMATE and this female would not get the point that I only wanted the service I requested originally upon scheduling the appointment. I ended up paying almost $200 because she said I was quoted incorrectly. That is not my mistake. Be careful when scheduling appointments here.

They have been always very honest with Healthcare and quality of life with my animals. My cat wasn't in good shape. One vet said do this do that and he should be fine, but it meant lots of money for not good quality of life. We came here and were straight forward with us about him not having a good quality of life. Even with those options, we ultimately chose to end his suffering. With our new dog they took their time with her and very good with the animals

Bait and switch.Called to have a kitten vaccinated due to environmental risk. Informed staff the kitten was 4 weeks old. They told me vaccinstion appointments were books months out, but if I added on a wellness exam then I could be seen asap. After check in I was being sold on a kitten package. After waiting 40 min for a room, and the vet the kitten began to have diarrhea. I informed the vet this was due to nutritional changes along with anxiety from travel as it was young. They took the clothe I used to clean the kitten and said they would send it off for testing. I assumed this was too be free as they never asked my opinion. After the exam they declared they could not vaccinate the kitten due to its weight. I have fostered, and worked with kittens and vets my entire life and have never been told a kitten didn't weigh enough for vaccination. I explained I was told the kitten could he vaccination and asked why I had not been informed during the phone call that they instead go based upon weight and not age. Typically when a kitten comes into a shelter it is vaccinated as early as 4 weeks old. This is common practice. After the exam they then brought out the invoice once again trying to push the kitten package onto me, and showed me a invoice for the fecal sample. Which I at no point requested. I declined all services and instead paid the 60 wellness exam which is currently 40 dollars more than most vets I visit in the central valley.Overall I requested a vaccinated for an at risk kitten, declared its age over the phone and at no point was told they would determine eligibility based upon weight. Upon arrival they attempted to sell me a kitten package, before and after the exam. Charging me for an exam I didn't want originally but was the only way to get seen. When I declared my concern over raising the kitten in an at risk environment they told me that the kitten was safe due to its antibodies inherently from its mother's milk. This was after I told them the mother was a feral that was not vaccinated as such it does not offer any antibodies in its milks for its litter.Overall I strongly discouraged anyone visit this vet. They offer bait and switch services and are entirely shady and immoral with this practice. Choosing money over customer both human and animal satisfaction alike. I did not get the sense they cared what's so ever about my pet only making as much money as possible, and to that end they misled me multiple times and tried even more. If not for my involvement with shelters, and fostering I could easily have seen anyone else paying their ridiculous fees. I went there due to finding the kitten close to work and working in the area. I later went to my normal vet and had the kitten taken care off and seen asap for 25 out the door with no upsell or switch.

I called to get more information on kitten vaccines and they told me they would call me back with that information but they never did. I also wanted to get my dog a rabies vaccine and they wanted me to do the exam. With the exam and rabies vaccine they gave me an appointment right away but when I said I only wanted the rabies vaccine they didn’t have an opening until the next month. I just went to the other vet in Patterson and they helped me with all my pet needs.

I literally found two dogs in the streets. I was able to get the two into the clinic. Meanwhile another lady followed me into the clinic. I explained the situation and was completely ignored as they ask the other lady questions. The stuff asked me for assistance on helping them out restrains on the dogs. As I assisted them I noticed that one of the dogs was bleeding and so I ask can one of the staff bandage her up. The staff hesitated and told both me and the other lady that they can’t keep the dogs there. At first I thought nothing of the way reactions. I can’t believe how racist Patterson is. I can’t believe that they treated me like if I was going to dognap the dogs I literally tried to save. Every suggestion that I made was completely ignored. I am cutting all ties and will not be bringing my dogs here ever again.

I can’t say enough good things about the staff. We needed to put our 18 year old terrier to sleep and didn’t want her to go through another day of declining health. The staff felt our pain and squeezed us in with in an hour of my call. Once there they were very professional and compassionate with our situation. I thank you for helping us and our dear Bell for making it a peaceful end.
