Windrose Farm is an absolute escape. We love bringing the family here and feeding all the wonderful animals and picking fresh fruit off the trees. I highly recommend making an appointment and visiting this beautiful space.
Windrose is a family farm located east of Paso Robles, near Creston, in San Luis Obispo County. Tucked in a unique valley of 50 acres — 12 are in vegetable rotations, 6 are in apples and stone fruit and 5 are heritage breed, animal pasture. The rest is habitat — full of animals, birds and insect life that work together in harmony.
Windrose grows tomatoes, potatoes, onions, garlic, green and dry beans, peppers, eggplant, winter squash, carrots, turnips, beets, cucumbers, melons and many varieties of greens. They also have the apples, stone fruit, and grapes. The valley is a unique microclimate that is good for a diverse variety of crops.
