Had an electrical problem on the Arctic Fox, while camping on the coast. Pulled in to Sky River. Difficult to find a place to park, even for a quick minute. The staff was extremely unhelpful, even as to recommendations for another shop.

I want to give Eddie, Nancy, Nick, and Daniel a huge thank you. Their professional team work was incredible. I went into purchasing my RV with some hesitation and they made it easy and answered all the questions I had plus some I didn't. Thank you all ..

Here we are again, my 3rd bad review for sky river. This is our 3rd or 4th time picking up our 5th wheel. This time they only had it for a month, but as always when we got it back our battery was still dead, it was filthy inside from the workers that fixed our light fixture above our sink. Not only was there wood pieces/shavings all over, there were footprints all over our island AGAIN!! I give it to them spotless and everytime we get it back, I'm left to clean up their mess. Since the battery was dead (another ongoing issue since last year), Aaron (I believe that was his name) was trying to jump it but it wasn't working so he got this other guy who pretty much treated my fiancé like he didn't know what he was doing with the battery. My fiancé told him this had been an ongoing issue, he disconnects it and the guy still keep trying to accuse us that it's our fault it was dead (great customer service). If it wasn't for Aaron, we wouldn't have received the new battery we got. We dropped it off last year for its 90 day maintenance issues and it was working fine, but after we got it back 5 months later, it no longer worked and it's our fault?? No! Because that wasn't the only thing wrong after we received it back. My fiancé also told the guy when we dropped it off for this current issue that we were told the next time we bring it in, it'll be washed and detailed.... That's never happened. It took me a week to post this just because I wasn't going to let their horrible service (excluding Aaron) ruin my vacation. Do better Sky RV! Your service department has been horrible since the day we got our trailer and even though you've had many people (staff) leave and new ones come in..... that should say something in it's self. And I WILL NOT remove my review, as I have been asked to do previously.

Every interaction and experience with the service department at Sky River deserves 5 stars. Let me break it down:1. Honest: We have a small travel trailer. In comparison to the RVs on the lot, we look like a back up generator. This is not completely their wheel house, and they were honest about it and said they would see what they could do. We appreciated that they were willing to contact the manufacturer if needed rather than assuming they can do it all.2. Communication: not just to us, the customer, but also within (the service manager, technicians, and parts department). Everyone was on the same page without a moment of hesitation. We had interactions minutes apart (on the phone and in person) with different team members and they were already informed!3. Thoughtful: the entire team was helpful and supportive. We had an emergency issue and they made their best efforts to get us taken care of both safely and quickly. It took 2 days from time of drop off to pick up, including parts to be delivered to get our trailer back to us. I can only imagine the pressure they experience with people's travel plans ruined or homes unavailable to them. They seriously do their best to help! So though these things are frustrating, it should not be taken out on them!4. Professional: John, Austin, Christine, the techs, and parts department knew their stuff! These were the people we interacted with! 5. Clean Shop: all parts to our trailer were carefully placed to avoid damage, grouped together to ensure no items were lost or misplaced, and tools specific for our trailer were returned to us with clear communication and confirmation. When you looked at the shop or other RVs, it was clear they took pride in their cleanliness and care for other people's property. We are glad to know that we have a reliable service department that can help us if needed in the future.

I went in to get a very specialized part for my rv. They were very helpful and even told me that it would be cheaper on Amazon. I needed the part, and they had it. I appreciate the honesty and integrity to let me know the truth. I would come back for any RV needs. If you ask via email, they respond appropriately.

Sales department is great, service department is horrible. To say our overall service dept experience was poor is an understatement. For context, we live in our camper and were very open with the service dept regarding. We confirmed three separate times over three months (two phone calls and one physical stop in), that the warranty repairs and three purchased improvements would take one week. We wanted to make sure because we had over five warranty repairs. Unfortunately, when we dropped off the camper on August 2, we were told two weeks for repairs. We were also told that warranty repairs would be submitted and we would have a quote for the purchased improvements August 4 or 5. We didn’t hear anything and called Aug 6. Warranty repairs hadn’t been submitted (and wouldn’t be until Aug 8) and we received a quote after calling. We stopped in Aug 8 to pick up items from the camper for the additional, unplanned week and spoke with the service manager, who said he tries to estimate with customers two to three weeks for repairs. Had we known this when we first called in May 2023, we would have appropriately planned. We picked up our camper Aug 10 after the purchased improvements of $2,000+ were completed. A few warranty repairs had been submitted Aug 9 (had been told Aug 8), but not all of them. At this time, we were told to expect to have warranties and parts to be in and ready for repairs at the end of Aug or early Sep, which is significantly longer than originally told. When we got home, we found wood chips and dirty boot prints in the bathroom and bedroom where purchased improvements had been completed. Two minor repairs (ribbing around table and cracked wood that needed to be replaced) that were completed when the camper was in for repairs are poorly executed (see pictures). We’re extremely disappointed in our experience with the service department at Sky River RV Paso Robles. We did our due diligence communicating because we understood how many repairs we had, but the lack of communication and miscommunication from the service dept has extended our repairs from one week to over one and a half month. Use caution when working with Sky River RV service department.

Had a great experience from "first look" to purchase of a brand new Cougar 5th wheel, thanks to the open communication, patience and experience of Steve Shohoudy. He answered all my questions in a timely manner with professional and a friendly demeanor. I was nervous with so many steps being done "virtually" but Steve made me comfortable and I was SO happy to meet him in person and pick up the 2023 Cougar Sport. Woo-hoo! You better believe I'm a happy camper!

We just purchased our Cougar MLE from Sky River. We first saw it at the Madonna expo but weren't ready to buy. Our sales guy is Brian Jansen who walked us through many rigs and really got to know us and what we wanted. Although I told him we weren't ready to buy he still was extremely patient and helpful. Never pushy! About six months later after camping in our old rig that wee had for 12 years, we traveled with kids and all, we decided it was time to upgrade. Best decision. Camping is our vacation and it's so nice and much more comfortable. The Cougar MLE is perfect couples rig with all the bells and whistles. I highly recommended Brian Jansen and the whole Sky River Paso family. Everyone from sales to finance and service are very helpful and will help you find the perfect rig. Happy camping!

We purchased our 2020 Jayco fifth wheel from Sky River RV in Paso Robles and have continued to have it maintained by their on-site service department. Not only was our sales experience top notch from beginning to end, but their current service department team is simply outstanding. Sky management and the owner would do well to keep this team happy as they are quite an asset from a customer service perspective. Austin is an engaging and proactive service manager who will do his best to accommodate full timers knowing that we require a reasonably quick turnaround. Erin is an amazing service advisor and communicator and kept us informed via daily statuses, so we never felt forgotten. The ladies are just as friendly, professional and hard working and are a major contributor to the team. Being a military family, we appreciate Sky River's fair and affordable pricing and have referred many of our military family, friends and colleages to Sky River over the last few years - so stop on by! You wont be disappointed.

Very dissatisfied aboit THIER service department needs a lot of help. Paid cash for our trailer expecting things to be working correctly. But that is not the case! Lets put it this way. Now washer and dryer ($4000) did not work. Leaked 3/4 the down our trailer, 1 sink in master leaked, the toilet seat in master was broke, the rail for the shower was put in backwards, leaked on the floor and Now we just rolled out the awning and it is Broken! And because we live in this 41' gem we have a hell of a time to get anyone our to fix it. The only saving grace for this company is the Sky river in Pismo Beach. The 2 service guys that came out fixed everything without a question. So if buying a trailer from Paso Sky river make sure Before you leave there make sure EVERYTHING WORKS before you leave their lot. Good luck on your travels.

We were having issues with our original dealer getting warranty work taken care of. Austin took us in without hesitation and had his service department take care of all the issues we had.
