I have never been to a winery where the people were so nice and accommodating,my sister lost her wallet there and they met us in the morning with her wallet .A big shout out to the owner who found it and to Suzy for meeting us in the morning then not taking any $ for the inconvenience. “Best place ever”

My friends and I did not heed warnings we saw online about Uber/Lyft availability and we took one to Rails Nap at the end of the day. Around 5 pm we finished a lovely tasting and planned to get another Uber back to our Inn. The hostesses here said they would be closing up but wouldn't leave until they heard we got an Uber. Sure enough there was no availability. We went back to ask them for a cab number but one of our hosts graciously drove us to our Inn! Amazing kindness and hospitality. Furthermore, beautiful winery, low key but elegant tasting. The Cab was phenomenal. Definitely check it out :)

Lovely atmosphere for low key, classy wine tasting with both an indoor and outdoor space. Very friendly staff that are knowledgeable on not only all of the wines but the Paso Robles area as well. They offer several varietals and all of them are good, it's hard to choose which to buy!Note: this is NOT the place for large/loud/rowdy groups, party busses, or the like...that's not the vibe here.

Plenty of outdoor seating. Cheese platters are also available in addition to the wine. They have both reds and whites available for the tastings.

Rails Nap has been on my radar for about two years now. From their consistent five star reviews here on Yelp to recommendations from friends and family. We were finally able to make reservations this last weekend to visit after a pickup party at Le Vigne. We had our sweet beagle boy, Jackson with us and called ahead to make sure this would be okay. They were more than happy to have us and our pup! We arrived to a beautiful tree lined road leading us up to a stone clade tasting room. On our way we passed a residence that was also a part of the property and (from what we gathered) could be rented. What caught our attention was the magnificent viewing deck overlooking the valley below. What a view! We ended up choosing the patio in back, but will definitely be returning to take in these views with a glass of wine in hand. It was a quiet and peaceful Sunday afternoon and we were the only others on the property. Perfect for us and Jackson! The tasting was composed of a 2018 Picpoul Blanc, 2018 Rose, 2015 Aner, 2016 Petit Verdot, 2017 East West Fusion Cab Sauv, and an off the menu bottle which was an unfiltered Cab (the name escapes me). If you've never tried Picpoul Blanc definitely take the opportunity. As a self-declared red wine enthusiast I often pass over whites, but not this one. With a light minerality, citrus astringency and apple blossom nose - it's the perfect warm weather wine. ($24)We also enjoyed the 2015 Aner, a petite syrah, syrah, grenache blend. This is a bold wine with loads of flavor with velvety layers of tannins. ($42)Overall this winery is a must-stop. You'll love the easy price-points, smooth wines, five-star customer service, and of course, the views!

A special find. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The space is gorgeous, and the new deck looks amazing (it was raining when we visited, so we went inside). Wines were very good. Some varieties were quite unique for the area, which was very interesting. All were well made, and generally less aggressive, more elegant than one typically sees. Can't wait to go back.

This winery was a hidden gem. As I was driving to go to my appt. at another winery, we drove by and I had to back up and go in. It was inviting. It was a super cold day, so we were happy the tasting was indoors, but there was only another couple there and us. The owner was pouring and we learned so much. He was super nice and informative. Their wines were amazing and award winning. Such a great find. Looking forward to going back soon.
