I love getting my hair done by Misty Starbuck. She does a great job. She is a very sweet and down to earth country girl. The vibe here is laid back even though rich old people come here a lot. Some guy with a Tesla truck came in at the same time that I did. The salon is very clean and the owner is very nice.

I've been a customer of Pure Elements Salon for several years now. Misty is simply the best stylist and works magic with my sometimes dry and greying hair. I receive many compliments. I'm attending a 50th wedding Anniversary and trusted Misty to help me look my best.

I was new to the area and needed a permanent. I have super straight, fine, grey hair. I have been getting permanents since 3rd grade. I am 75 now. That is a lot of permanents. good and bad. Luckily for me, Michelle was available on Labor day. We experimented and did a 24 hour permanent, which meant we did not use the 2nd solution, but I went home with the rollers in my hair and slept on them. I did not get a wonderful night sleep, but whoa, the perm curl was great. It is now almost Christmas and I still have some curl. . .yay, and my hair condition is great. Michelle was great and completed the cut 2 weeks after the perm. I highly recommend her and her 24 hour perm.

If you’re concerned about covid, I wouldn’t recommend going to this salon. I can’t speak to the quality of their skills because I never actually made it in for an appointment. I tried to contact the salon several times by phone to schedule, and no one ever answered. I physically stopped in to make an appointment and there wasn’t a single person (employees or customers) wearing a mask.

One of the worst haircuts I've ever gotten. The woman told me she'd done my hair cut a million times, gave me a once over for about 6 minutes, left a bunch of stragglers and gave me a seriously uneven hair cut. I had to go to a real salon to get it fixed. Maybe it was just the hairdresser I got, around 50 with sandy reddish blonde hair, but I will never go back.

This is a fun and very professional salon. The customers are given the red carpet treatment every time. They sell cute jewelry and accessories so you can browse while your hair is being colored if you like. I have had excellent service each time I was there, my stylist was ready early, asked me questions and followed through on the services I requested. I have been to 3 salons as I am new in town, and this one is by far my favorite if you want first class treatment and a great stylist as I have seen the work of most stylists there and it is very high quality along with their products. I highly recommend it. It's located just next to Cool Hand Luke on Riverside. They take credit cards (I went to one salon that demanded cash only but that's a whole different review).

Love this place! Great experience every time. Michelle Hansen really knows how to cut and care for my curly hair. She is super attentive and listens to my vision before she takes out her scissors and works her magic!
